Blame David Murrow? What on earth are you talking about?
You're to one who insisted on posting the source of your unscriptural teaching.

ol Lack of adult skills? Are we just inventing things now, Praus?
Not at all, the ability to move from place to place is pretty basic adult skill, you even "lol"-d about it.

Don't you remember?

It is neither easy nor simple. Maybe for you, but not for me. lol

And some light humor (of which I know does not line up to what your point is, that God created sex) is no cause to consider me a heretic, please man. You're being far too dramatic. Please calm yourself.
Art05, please explain the scriptural basis for your assertion that I'm "being far too dramatic".

1 Tim 5:1 Rebuke not an elder, but intreat [him] as a father; [and] the younger men as brethren;

But that book really is great. I recommend it to every man (even if it's target audience is married men, I, being a bachelor, enjoyed it regardless).
Shouldn't they read the Bible first?

Be spontaneous and be yourself, trust God, and let it happen on its own. Pretty simple really.

Insisted on post the source of my "my" unscriptural teaching? ??? ... Said even after I told you that I agreed with you. Wow.

The ability to move from place to place is a pretty basic adult skill??? I ... I guess, Praus.

haha You're being too dramatic in that you took what I said far too seriously, to the point of implying that I was a heretic.

Wait a second ... this is an entirely huge misunderstanding. You *assumed* that the original post implied that I believed Adam (man) created sex. It did nothing of the sort! lol

The post:

Eve: Adam, we've sinned, we're now going to die and you have to work a 12-hour day to make a living. And I guess I'm still your "baby machine", ... but now there's gonna be a bunch of freakin' pain with it?! Ugh! Adam! This is all your fault! What are we supposed to do now, huh? You're the man, you're supposed to know what to do! *Begins to cry* Why aren't you saying anything?! Adam, I come to your for this sort of stuff! And you're--

Adam: Well, I think we--

Eve: What?! What?! What is your GRAAAND solution, because I'd love to hear it!

Adam: ... How about sex?

[lol And if you don't believe me, read everything up to Genesis 4.1 haha]

Where, oh where did you see that I said that man created sex, and not God?

There's the source for your jealousy of younger Christians then.

as I saw young Christians (younger than me) arrive at a relationship, then that beast of sadness and jealousy won, ....

Sex is adult topic, I'm terribly sorry that i mentioned it in post #33, I didn't realize how bad your situation is until post #35--my mistake.

I feel stupid now because you keep starting these posts related to relationships that you're not qualified to have, and it appears that jealousy is the reason....

I'll make it up to you, here's a picture of Diego, Dora, & Boots the Monkey for you.

Trying to save face and copping out of answering? Don't blame you ;) If I had said what you'd said, I would do the same lol.

I'm reminded of these words, He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings; and these: But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings. And in order for me to do this well, I must exercise my right to Ignore you. In the words of John McLaughlin-- Bye bye!

Let's be clear : " Dating " comes from the world,
and it has nothing to do with what's best for true Christians.
Christians should not conform to the world, for they are to be the Light of the world. If the Christians just conform to the world, if they don't show a difference in their practices and just " date " like any pagan or atheist, do they represent Light ?

Christians should make a radical difference and bring something to the world of relationships as radically different as Light from darkness : Scriptural Courting !

Fiat Lux !
Let there be Light !
And where is scriptural courting found? I don't remember any rules for dating in the bible really.

We seem to agree. But I do believe God does set standards of holiness by which the singles should live by, for the glory of God, to avoid the appearance of evil, and for their own personal benefit (because sin tends to bring many sorrows).

My point in this thread was to prove that there really isn't an example or formula for dating found in the Bible; and, of course, I invite anyone who has a different opinion, so long as they lay it out carefully for all to see.

Amen to this. :) Thanks, Art.
