Are you saying they will have to blindfold themselve to stop looking & get drunk to forget what they've already seen?:p
Two men and no women going wine tasting, hmmmm, maybe I should have chosen a better photo.

Let me start by saying, I'm 100% behind dressing like a classy woman who values herself and others, however, I don't believe that any woman can MAKE a man stumble. That which comes out of a man is what defiles him. We live in a crazy world that seems to be dominated by sex, money, and power. I believe and have experienced that the problem of lust and sexual impurity begins with the heart. I'm not condoning women walking around wearing provocative clothing, I just don't think that all of the responsibility of a guy's lust should be ours. I believe it's totally possible for men to not lust on a daily basis. It seems to be treating a symptom and not the problem to be solely addressing women on the subject.
If a woman could literally make a man stumble, that would be a violation of free will.

A man tried to make that argument in the bible, it didn't fly.

12 The man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me from the tree, and I ate.” 13 Then the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?”

I included verse 13 as well though as it appears Eve wasn't entirely off the hook for tempting Adam. It's an interesting dilemma. I guess tempting others to sin may in fact be sin in and of itself, even though at the end of the day sin is the fault of the person committing it.

Nehemiah 13:26 (NASB) [SUP]26 [/SUP]"Did not Solomon king of Israel sin regarding these things? Yet among the many nations there was no king like him, and he was loved by his God, and God made him king over all Israel; nevertheless the foreign women caused even him to sin.

Proverbs 5:1-9 (NASB) [SUP]1 [/SUP]My son, give attention to my wisdom, Incline your ear to my understanding; [SUP]2 [/SUP]That you may observe discretion And your lips may reserve knowledge. [SUP]3 [/SUP]For the lips of an adulteress drip honey And smoother than oil is her speech; [SUP]4 [/SUP]But in the end she is bitter as wormwood, Sharp as a two-edged sword. [SUP]5 [/SUP]Her feet go down to death, Her steps take hold of Sheol. [SUP]6 [/SUP]She does not ponder the path of life; Her ways are unstable, she does not know it. [SUP]7 [/SUP]Now then, my sons, listen to me And do not depart from the words of my mouth. [SUP]8 [/SUP]Keep your way far from her And do not go near the door of her house, [SUP]9 [/SUP]Or you will give your vigor to others And your years to the cruel one;

Proverbs 7:1-27 (NASB) [SUP]1 [/SUP]My son, keep my words And treasure my commandments within you. [SUP]2 [/SUP]Keep my commandments and live, And my teaching as the apple of your eye. [SUP]3 [/SUP]Bind them on your fingers; Write them on the tablet of your heart. [SUP]4 [/SUP]Say to wisdom, "You are my sister," And call understanding your intimate friend; [SUP]5 [/SUP]That they may keep you from an adulteress, From the foreigner who flatters with her words. [SUP]6 [/SUP]For at the window of my house I looked out through my lattice, [SUP]7 [/SUP]And I saw among the naive, And discerned among the youths A young man lacking sense, [SUP]8 [/SUP]Passing through the street near her corner; And he takes the way to her house, [SUP]9 [/SUP]In the twilight, in the evening, In the middle of the night and in the darkness. [SUP]10 [/SUP]And behold, a woman comes to meet him, Dressed as a harlot and cunning of heart. [SUP]11 [/SUP]She is boisterous and rebellious, Her feet do not remain at home; [SUP]12 [/SUP]She is now in the streets, now in the squares, And lurks by every corner. [SUP]13 [/SUP]So she seizes him and kisses him And with a brazen face she says to him: [SUP]14 [/SUP]"I was due to offer peace offerings; Today I have paid my vows. [SUP]15 [/SUP]"Therefore I have come out to meet you, To seek your presence earnestly, and I have found you. [SUP]16 [/SUP]"I have spread my couch with coverings, With colored linens of Egypt. [SUP]17 [/SUP]"I have sprinkled my bed With myrrh, aloes and cinnamon. [SUP]18 [/SUP]"Come, let us drink our fill of love until morning; Let us delight ourselves with caresses. [SUP]19 [/SUP]"For my husband is not at home, He has gone on a long journey; [SUP]20 [/SUP]He has taken a bag of money with him, At the full moon he will come home." [SUP]21 [/SUP]With her many persuasions she entices him; With her flattering lips she seduces him. [SUP]22 [/SUP]Suddenly he follows her As an ox goes to the slaughter, Or as one in fetters to the discipline of a fool, [SUP]23 [/SUP]Until an arrow pierces through his liver; As a bird hastens to the snare, So he does not know that it will cost him his life. [SUP]24 [/SUP]Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, And pay attention to the words of my mouth. [SUP]25 [/SUP]Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways, Do not stray into her paths. [SUP]26 [/SUP]For many are the victims she has cast down, And numerous are all her slain. [SUP]27 [/SUP]Her house is the way to Sheol, Descending to the chambers of death.

Proverbs 9:13-18 (NASB) [SUP]13 [/SUP]The woman of folly is boisterous, She is naive and knows nothing. [SUP]14 [/SUP]She sits at the doorway of her house, On a seat by the high places of the city, [SUP]15 [/SUP]Calling to those who pass by, Who are making their paths straight: [SUP]16 [/SUP]"Whoever is naive, let him turn in here," And to him who lacks understanding she says, [SUP]17 [/SUP]"Stolen water is sweet; And bread eaten in secret is pleasant." [SUP]18 [/SUP]But he does not know that the dead are there, That her guests are in the depths of Sheol.

I dress according to what pleases my husband. If other men stumble because of that, its because they are viewing women as pieces of meat and not beloved sisters in Christ. Truthfully I don't dress "sexy" unless I'm with my husband because some guys can be jerks and I don't like have some random stranger following me around. its kind of creepy. I'd rather not be noticed and work behind the scenes to accomplish things.

as for the video, Perhaps the message is more for herself than other women?

after listening to the video I wonder at her self esteem issues. the over done make up trying to hide behind the mask of righteousness. the constant reminder to herself (as if she is trying to convince herself and her audience) that she does NOT want to tempt the man by wearing revealing clothing.

Its like she is trying to break from a bad habit she had before of exchanging her body for the pretense of love.

men are going to lust no matter what you wear or don't wear. the question is YOUR intentions: are you TRYING to attract that kind of male attention or do you just like your clothes?

slaves in some countries go around half naked, some children wonder the streets without clothes but that type of revealing of the flesh is not considered "sexy"

I think people are too quick to judge others. Jesus accepted people no matter what they are wearing or not wearing. He loved them and taught them His ways.

When I listened to this video, this song came to mind: Casting Crowns "if we are the body"

Yes…it is possible for men not to lust on a daily basis. The whole “make men stumble” mind set is very troubling to me. If you take it one step further…it is not so different than claiming the victim “caused” a sexually assaulted by dressing and/or acting a certain way. Thankfully that line of thinking is really out; I should hope. Yet when it comes to inappropriate staring or gawking…the man is giving a pass.

The problem is that many men in churches are being told they have a problem, even if they don’t. The popular book is titled “Every Man’s Battle”. This feeds in to a stereotype that has the effect of almost justify negative sexual behavior. How would a woman feel if she believed every man around her had a sexual control issue? I am not a woman but I somehow doubt she would be very comfortable around men if she thought they could stumble so easily. Plus, would she really want a man like that around future children?

So i would say that man got adultery or fornication issues that HE has to repent, and have His mind renewed of.

Just because they wear pants doesn't make them a man.

Some men don't lust after half naked woman, to think otherwise would be a very wrong assumption.

While in a relationship, never did my eyes give someone else a second look, and even more, never did I picture another woman naked, not because I tried not to, but because of the way God has shaped me.
