I believe in different planet relationships... you can never be to far away from the one you love.

It's ironic that long distance relationships have such a bad reputation, because I've heard that the single most important aspect of maintaining a functional long-term relationship is giving your partner plenty of space.

Sometimes I think that human emotions are a tad bit arbitrary. Would that be an extreme statement?

What do you consider long distance?
Like an oversea relationship?
Or someone who lives an hour away or something?

If it's overseas, that's just ridiculous.
And I've dated a guy that was like, 30 minutes away.
It wasn't that bad. But yeah...

I met my husband online, and we were three days (driving) away from each other. Most of our "getting to know each other" was mostly done online and on the phone, but we grew to know each other and love each other to the point where we knew it was God's will. I do agree it is easier to not fall into temptation this way, but it's really hard to love someone who you can't see often, talk to face to face or even just go out on a weekend with. I'm 100% sure that if this relationship had not been God's will, we would not gotten married or it wouldn't even lasted too long. There was no way I seemed it possible, but it happened, and now I live in the middle of nowhere.

I'm not "officially" in one. We are choosing to wait, because of the whole distance issue. We are hoping with future schools and such we will end up closer. I find it hard enough for me as it is, I wouldn't be able to deal with dating someone lond distance. I could wait for them, but not date.

i beleive it can work out beautifully depending on the bond one has.

If one is together in spirit, heart and there can be no distance but the body as such.
One can have much fun and love flow between despite distance.
One can even send kisses :)
And one can look 4ward to meeting and moving 2gether in future
I had a distance relationship and we were like one in body and spirit so close even though our bodies were not physically 2gether.It was heartbreaking and ... when it broke. We laughed a lot and joked a lot also.

It depends on the couple, what bond and intent they have, who they are etc

For me, 'this' depends on one thing, or, deity, rather. God. :)

What does He say about it? What does He know about it? (Hint: He knows a lot ;) )

But, yeah, I would need to see the light hit me square between the eyes saying, 'GO!.' And, it could not just be ANY LIGHT but a sudden light akin to what Paul saw, suddently BLINDING HIM while walking down the road and then God calling out, 'Saul, why do you persecute me?' Not that situation, just that kind of 'Wow!' OK, I think I get it, God.

You never know who God may seen your way. No matter how far away they may be if the connection is right. Distance want really matter and God will take care of the rest.
