I know it's widely acceptable and society "believes" women should have long hair and men should have short hair and same w/ earrings.
I just have a friend the other day tell me he is thinking about getting earrings in both ears and a bull ring for his nose. For me, personally, I can't see him with either however, Some guys can easily pull off the earrings look.
What's your thoughts on guys wearing earrings whether it be 1 or 2 earrings? I remember when I was younger, they said if guys wear only one earring and if it' in their left ear, they're straight, but, if they only wear 1 earring in their right ear, that means they're gay and if they wear them in both ears, they're a punk or they're "normal". I never really paid much attention to those stereotypes growing up and it was the same w/ guys w/ long hair. They said if guys have long hair they're looking for trouble. So, if they can say that about guys w/ long hair and/or w/ earrings, then howcome they never said girls w/ short hair are looking for trouble, etc.?
I know this isn't a huge issue but, am just curious as to your opinions.
For me, if a guy has earrings or long hair, it doesn't matter. In my opinion, it's personal preference and if that's what they like, let them be.
However, guys that choose to wear their pants, half way down their legs, now that's another story. I have never understood why that became a trend or how that can be comfortable to walk in. I know if i forget to wear a belt, and my pants just start to slide down slightly, i'm always pulling them up.
