Nice looking guy in the store comes up and speaks to you........... thinks you work there and ask what aisle the light bulbs are on.....
Tell him "I don't know what aisle the lightbulbs are on, but the girlfriends are on 3" (or whatever aisle you're on).

:D

Found out tickets to a concert you wanted to go to are sold out. Bright side is I made cookies so I can read a book and eat cookies and be a hermit.

You stop your car to admire a bull moose in the middle of the road, it's majestic beauty . . . It then turns toward you, charges, and then stomps your car (this actually happens quite often)

Internet provider calls to inform you that your bill is going to drop drastically.

They're discontinuing service in your neighborhood.

Gives you a chance to hit on him. "Sorry, i don't work here, but i think they're on aisle X. But hey, i have a 'bright' idea, why don't we meet for coffee later?"
That my friend is brilliant :)

You and another driver stop your cars to block both lanes to save a cute puppy running down the centerline from being run over, but it's a meanie face dog who growls, jumps at you and tries to bite you when you try to pick it up. :(

A letter to you in the mail? It's junk.
Get a good night's sleep? It's daylight savings and now you're late for work.
You won a $100 cash prize? Now you can afford groceries and possibly the gas to get to the store.
Your new shoes look great... that is without the dog poop stuck to them.
You move into a nice and very affordable new house. Your neighbors tell you it's haunted.
You get to be the car in Monopoly. You lose... miserably.
It's your holiday. You're sick all the way through it.
You come home from a vacation to find that you have 20 facebook notices. They're farmville requests.
You go out with a group of friends to see a movie. It's either a chick flick or a romantic comedy.
You get to work just on time. You're still wearing your house shoes.

This reminds me of the "corrupt-a-wish" game, except we're supposed to do it to ourselves.

Hmm... I finally work up the courage to step outside of my shyness and introduce myself to a potential new friend... but they give me a cold, blank stare instead as if they have no idea why I'm talking to them, thus restoring my lack of trust in new people (true story).

I don't know if I am playing right....but I just made myself sad.

Sees a thread about looking on the bright side.
Realizes it's full of cynical humor.

Relena, that's funny but only because I feel the same. I posted once, but I could think of a few more I could put, and then I thought, "Well...that's depressing..."

:)
