I know it is not your intent to objectify the woman in the video. Is it? She is "Gorgious" to God as she is! Can you see it now???
The other thread encourages men to correct one another when we have objectified women, so there you go friend.

I dont think saying someone could do this this and this is objectifying. Its no different than offering fashion advice. Objectifying would be like wow she is hot i cant wait to get with her. There is a strong difference. Lets not even get into the fact that her sense of modesty is fairly warped in my opinion. I mean her clothing loks like poor 17th century washerwoman(again thats not objectifying). Objectification more broadly means treating a person as a commodity or an object, without regard to their personality or dignity. Objectification is most commonly examined at the level of a society, but can also refer to the behavior of individuals.

San Pedro, I'm not really sure why you feel the need to be such a Bitter Betty and troll the way you do. Was the other thread over the top? Absolutely, but not just for the reasons you cling to. There is no reason for this thread. You created it as a stab to Misty77. That isn't a Godly thing to do. Correction is to be done in love, not sarcasm and resentment. Furthermore, you've brought up the Atheism board quite a bit. Coupled with your chosen name and the mild drug reference of your avatar, I do believe you've tipped your hand.

Then again I'm just an uneducated woman. What do I know?

You said "She'd be gorgious" Like she is an object for your approval or disapproval. God sees her as gorgious as she is,

Lets not even get into the fact that her sense of modesty is fairly warped in my opinion.

Another judgment? "In my opinion."

You mean like a commodity for you to judge? What have you said of her character? Nothing!
without regard to their personality or dignity.

Like I just said,,, see above.

Whenever you look at the outside of the cup rather than seeking what is within, you have made a person an object, and have therefore objectified them. Let him who has ears hear.

You are now the second forum member to to accuse me of making a drug reference. I made a CACTUS reference. Perhaps you believe that I have made a drug reference because your own mind considers such things?

[h=3]Matthew 7:1-5[/h]King James Version (KJV)

7 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Then again I'm just an uneducated woman. What do I know?
Your sarcasm speaks volumes. Good day.

saying something like i different style would look nice on someone from a video is not the same as doing t in rreal life. There is no inner person to get to know its a video. instead i just had to sit and listen to ignorant view of modesty. So if I were to look at the inside of the cup and be honest...it would probably be a lot harsher.

I just wanted to bring some hot-pink hair and a nose ring into this thread.
It was lacking that.
...I'll probably be sorry later...

I mean she was alright..but maybe do her hair, some eyeliner, some more fashionable clothes and boom cute goes to gorgeous

Are you saying that she "needs" make up to look better? God didn't make her good enough?
