So, in about 4 days, everyone is going to be celebrating New Years and carry out resolutions for the first few weeks (maybe not even that long) then stop. Though, some people will carry out a resolution longer than that, and some don't make any at all.

Since I'm bored, I've decided to pick everyone's brain and ask, if you have a New Years resolution (or resolutions), what are they? Since I got a few, they're not much, but nonetheless they're resolutions, I'll start with mine.

First one may sound extremely silly, but, I'm going to try my best to eat more vegetables (overall eat healthier, honestly). I barely eat any veggies anymore, and so I'm going to make a good effort to eat more veggies at meals and add veggies where I can when I make meals (yeah, I love making meals and baking pastries and sweet stuff.) and maybe even make more homemade veggie soup (has lots of veggies and is super good :D).

Second one, is to do more. Not really socially, but physically. Try and walk the dogs when I can. Do some outside activities, fun stuff like that. :)

Third one is, I dunno if it's possible or not, but I'd LOVE to pick up a new instrument, start to learn it, and stick with it no matter how frustrated I get. (If I hadn't stuck to my guitar like I had, even though I'd get SUPER frustrated, I wouldn't be doing half the things I do with my music.) I dunno what instrument that'll be yet, but I guess I'll see. :)

Fourth one is, focus on God a little bit more in my life. Gotta make sure I keep my focus!!

So those are some goals I have for New Years. :) Nothing elaborate, nothing extreme, just some things I see in my life that I know I need to change. :)

No resolutions for me, they usually are not kept, so I plan to keep preching the truth to those who have an ear to hear, and pray many will come out of the false church system, seek the truth, and especially repent and seek the mercy of God!

Act 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Sounds good, Jordache!! :) I'm hoping to get in better shape too :) but I'm not planning on losing a certain amount of weight or anything. I'm afraid I'd be setting myself up for disappointment if I do.

Thanks Nod! :)

haha, I've never really been attached to carbonated drinks. I kinda haven't drank much fizzy stuff since the first grade (it kinda has a negative affect on me). Now coffee...mmmmm, coffeee......that's something I need to make sure I don't have too much of. (So far I'm keeping it to 1-2 cups a day. Mainly one.)

Lil, I lost a 400lb husband and then 35 of my own lbs since Sept. But that last 10 or so is sticky. I could settle for less. If I could just get myself to run again I'd probably never lose the 10, but I'm not so worried about that.

I forgot my most important resolution.
1. Get back on my diet (medical treatment). This is the hardest one.

The college age group at my church somehow made bacon their code word.

I'm doing so well keeping my last New year's resolution, which was several years ago, that I've never had to make another since. Mine was: I WILL MAKE NO MORE NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS! I'm so proud of myself!

Here are my New Year's Goals:

1. Spend 24 hours a day and 7 days a week on CC, and see if I can lose what little sanity I have left.

2. Try to fit one pound of Chocolate Rosebuds into my mouth (just because!!!)

3. Sell off my collection of unopened Englebert Humperdinck records!!!

4. See if I can round up $1.36 to buy back my collection of Englebert Humperdinck records!!!

5. Audition for Canadian Idol (it's off the air now, but I was told to never give up on my dreams!!!). Of course, the person who told me that is now bankrupt and serving jail-time for fraud, but still, I'm never going to give up!!! Canadian Idol, here I come!!! Which way is it again???

I tend not to make resolutions because i know i have no desire to stick with them, but if i had to to pick some

Cut down smoking to a just when drinking situation
Eat better(though the best tasting things are the worse...like bacon)
Finish hobby collections(this i might actually do)

A Christian friend of a friend made the resolution to get married, he was single at the time, and got married later that year. I'd want to make sure that's what God was saying if I was to say something like that though............

So I don't think I'll be making any resolutions, unless divinely instructed.......... :)

1. Finish writing my novel's first draft.

2. No...speeding tickets. Same goal every year. Let's just say the months of November and December are not very kind to me as a driver.

1. Spend more time with the kids
2. Stop sweating the small stuff....turn everything over to the Lord.
3. Plan healthier meals for me and the kiddos.
4. Splash in the puddles cause that is just fun.
5. Most important- Continue to develop a loving relationship with God.
