I disagree that the 'nice guys' need to 'get a spine'. Maybe in some cases, but the funny thing is people say that, yet the women are admitting they turn down the nice guys when they do ask. The reason 'nice guys' feel the way they do is not for lack of trying, but for lack of positive response. So if you really want to encourage nice guys, try saying 'yes' & giving them a real chance.
Someone asks why do I say "white guys finish last"? Oh, I am Canadian and our political correctness goes far beyond what most countries are like. You ever see the movies "Save the Last Dance" or "Crazy/Beautiful"... or I guess there are always many new ones where they encourage white girls to have sex with ethnic guys? The same things are very very very big around here. I was at a mall yesterday and it was one black guy with a white girl after another, after another.... but you're not supposed to say anything about it except how good it is. In Canada I suspect the phrase "nice guys finish last" is completely tied to "white guys finish last." Of course, many companies also make it their official policies to not hire white males like our big banks and many retail stores so it is just natural that people dating who they work with end up in the relationships that they do. In my life I have now been gang beaten twice for talking to white girls (both cases the police refused to do anything) and have harassed by campus security and police while in pleasant conversations with a white girls. Yeah, we finish last, we're total trash in the eyes of the authorities who are very eager to wipe out the old Canada for the new Canada.
