(Let's have some fun. :) I'll start a story about two people who met here. They are both christians. Add a sentence or two with each post. It doesn't have to be all serious, but let's try not to derail the story if at all possible. :) )

Once upon a time a man, let's call him "Tony", age 30, from Canada, met a woman, let's call her "Judy", age 25, from the USA, met in this CC Singles forum. (Someone else can tell us down the line what Tony and Judy do for a living. :) )

They decided that they would meet and their first date would be............ (take it away next poster) :)

However, after realizing that it's not a good idea, Judy changed her mind and suggested that they should have their first date in the coziest French restaurant in her town called 'Le Meurice'.

But then Tony remembered the movie "Fatal Attraction" and decided she should visit his home church first ( so that all his church buddies could lay hands on her and see if anything manifests) lol

Then Judy seeing the obvious in Tonys heart made an about face and found herself at a gas station where she met a very nice young man who asked her what she was doing.

And then she realized, she loved him too much to deny herself a chance to visit him in Canada, and so she agreed :D

(Okay...I'm seriously beginning to understand the singleness here hahaha. We have 5 posts and they still haven't MET! ;) )

So Judy agreed to travel to Canada and meet Tony at an Ice Cream Social sponsored by his church, where Tony had entered a pie eating contest. Tony's family (parents and sibs) attended and Judy was impressed with Tony's warm, loving family. On her way back home to the US (...let's say Michigan, so she doesn't have to travel so far! haha) Judy thought.....

She thought Maybe he wasn't such a bad guy after all perhaps he will come visit me in Michigan and meet my parents and we can attend our church together!

So as soon as she got home, she called to let Tony know that she'd arrived safely and invited him to come to visit her in Michigan. He said that he would, but he was very busy with his job as a .............

(once they get to know one another it would be VERY cool to send them off on exciting adventures :) )

He got promoted and he was very busy, he couldn't talk to Judy so often anymore, not even at weekends, so they kind of lost contact. They still loved each other tough. One day Tony got shot in his arm and they laid him off so he could recover.

Judy was talking with a mutual chat friend who told her what had happened to Tony. In a panic, Judy realized just how much Tony had meant to her and how much she'd missed him, so she gave him a call to see how he was feeling and to let him know that she'd be praying for him. It was as if nothing had ever happened. They still felt strongly about one another that Tony asked her to come to Canada for awhile. Since it was Summer and Judy was a teacher, she took a few weeks to go to Canada to nurse Tony back to health. While she was there, Tony told her that...

He needed space. Judy was shocked because she felt it was all perfect while she was there with him, he was kind and loving as always, they could talk for hours and hours. What Judy didn't know is that Tony was hurt from a past relationship, and he needed to straight things up with God so he can marry Judy later. And what Tony didn't know is that she loved him with all his flaws and scars, but she returned to Michigan to give him some space...

Tony prayed to God for healing his past relationship hurts. Suddenly, miraculously, they disappeared! Tony then wrote some things on a piece of paper and phoned Judy. He had a question he wanted to ask her

Tony laughed into the phone and said that he definitely had a question to ask her, but he felt that it was a question he should ask her in person, so they struck a deal. They agreed to meet at the US/Canadian border at Niagara Falls. Judy arrived and waited ..and waited for him, thinking something had happened, when suddenly he came riding up on a police horse dressed like a knight in armor, which he laughed and said had slowed him down a bit. He knelt before her, took her hand in his and asked her to marry him. She immediately said......

she immediately said No!!.. And now it was his turn to give her space because she had to think about it and she wasn't so sure he was the right person because of what he did earlier.. Tony was very shocked and went back home feeling disappointed at himself.. And then he decided.....

...to move to Saudi Arabia because gas is only 4 cents a gallon. He landed a job as a camel trainer's assistant and makes $220,000 USD a year (minimum wage).
