Sometimes, a handful of shreds can make one big picture. I'd imagine that most relationships involve physical, mental, and spiritual aspects, but it really don't have to have all three in order to be a relationship.

Does... that answer the question? I'm not entirely sure I understood the question in the first place.

What on earth are shreds? I don't get the question. We are holistic beings, so relationships require all three aspects.

Relationships are based on how we relate to things or people, but is relating really enough? If you relate to someone its based off of a perception, supposedly personal experience yet that is biased 100% of the time. God only knows what the situation was in reality, but the person going through the experience possibly will take a life time to understand what they lived through the one single moment. So if a relationship is mental its not a relationship. Then the physical aspect there is a thing called "law of attraction," so if its true that for as much as to people men are attracted to women? then also some men are attracted to men we have in nature animals that are gay. So the physical cant be either? sense it is corrupted in the human domain and animal domain. So Spiritual has to be it, God created us in his holy image there for creating us with a spirit to give us consciousnesses, self control, and power to do the impossible love our family's wives and children no matter what the costs and how high are the stakes it takes. As the scripture says men love your wives as Christ loves the church.

That's a very Gnostic understanding of love.

I'm not sure what sort of relationship... Friendship? Dating? Marriage? I'm not usually physical with my friends. Am I understanding correctly or.... no? :p We eat dinner together so I suppose that's physical. I'm missing some piece of the puzzle.

What is the value of your relationship with water? Probably the dire nessesity to quench thirst for your body, not for your spirit. So it dose relate to the phisical aspect but not the spiritual so it's dosent complete an entire relationship to you. Now if we got you to share say an experiance you had as a child, you would say as much as you remeber but you wouldn't know why it all seemed that way or made you feel that way(perception). So certain experiances allow you to have a common sense with others, but it's abstract because that experiance isn't complete, you haven't learned the complete purpose God had you live through it. So your relationship with those individuals isn't a complete relationship due to the fact it's was biased on the experiance you shared to being with. Bible says "whoever trusts man is cursed," that also signifies that we being are spiritualy wired and our spirit fights against the flesh and the flesh has to be in submission to our spirit that God created in his own image. So when you will get married for example your united and founded in the spirit rather the flesh that is dust.

But back to the question, how do relationships exists and form? Is it perception based on correlation? some people say love, and others manipulation? either are radical on how they make a person to react. Your thoughts brothers and sisters.

I love the way C.S. Lewis said that relationships are formed...

He said a true relationship is formed when you have something you deem unique about yourself and no one else shares... But when you notice this quality in another person you now share that common thing you both thought that only you had...

With God, its the love for me (sounds self-centered but its true)

With my best friend it is the fact we can debate 'logically' going at each others throats and yet at the end of each debate no feelings have been hurt because we understand how we debate...

With another friend it is the fact we are both proactively procrastinators... Meaning, when we sit down we are done for the count, but the second we decide we want to work nothing can stop us... Often we get in a mood randomly and go for a 60 minute drive just to shoot 5 shots out of a 17 hmr then drive home :p

thing is after you find that one thing in common then your relationship starts to grow... I found that it does not truly grow until you have found that quality in each other...
