Hi guys. I know this isn't the prayer request section but most of Holly's friends are in here so I need to ask you guys to please pray for her. I promised her I'd ask you all. She is going through a very tough situation that is really putting a lot of stress on her and is making her life difficult. I don't want to give details out of respect for her privacy, but just know that she is being treated very unfairly and is very hurt and feeling helpless. She had her account here disabled because she felt it was distracting her too much from what she needs to focus on.

Please please pray for her. Thank you and God bless you for your prayers. Remember that she is our beloved sister in Christ. God bless.

Holly has a berry, it is round and red and, pretty like that girl in that popular show, Ugly Betty.
but if you eat that 'holly' no more jolly and that would be ugly like Craig Ferguson felt when did leave Betty.

Holly is a 'Hobby,' as in that stuffed bonnet doll that girls grew up huggin' in their beddies,
who was comfortingly there for them from three to ten and years passed by and still on their beddies.

Holly is a leaf, uniquely looking foilage that's nice to see, it's pointy structure, soo pretty,
but walk along a path and not see it's hanging wrath and poke an eye, and that would not be so pretty.

And, ah, yes. Of all the hollys in the world, there is 1 Holly who's prettiest of all, the princess of pretty.
She's on christian chat, makes us laugh a lot, and, soon we pray we can see her again all sounding pretty.


God bless you, Nods. A poem that, I think, speaks sentiment, of all we feel toward you. :)

Nods, I should qualify that statement there right above ^ , I think this speaks the sentiment of everyone on c.c., BUT that one guy on christian chat, that guy that's more green (much more) than nice, well, he's nice too, means well, we can say can't we, and, we all KNOW he's just a little more ornery than the rest and he just might be not so sentimental as the rest :D

Awww!!! I haven't been posting much in recent months, but I'm really gonna miss her!! :( :( :( She was one of the original Compulsive Posters. I even started a thread about us!

Yeah , I miss Nods like everyone else, she has a humorous streak to her that is blessedly fine. The Lord leads.

Wahhhhhh!!!!! :(:(:( Thanks for making this thread, Gabe. I actually found it when I came in here to make a thread requesting prayer for Ugly (hadn't been in the Singles' Forum lately).

Nod/Holly, if you're reading this, I love you, and you really have a neat sense of humor. You made me look at your profile page a lot when I first joined just because it was so funny; made it hard to resist getting an instant smile :). I'll pray (have already, in fact). I hope that things get easier for you, but I hope most of all that you grow stronger in the Lord through the tough time you're going through. Jesus will draw closer to us if we draw closer to Him :). wow thank you so much for posting you do not know how much it means to me, as i have been wondering whats been going on and i have known her for a long time so thank you zero..

Holly if you do read this you are in my prayers as you always are and i know you can get through it just stay strong and dont lose sight of God as He will give you the strength and help you get through anything :)
