I like that men don't tend to "sweat the small stuff" or obsess over things like women do :).

In all fairness to my own gender, I should acknowledge that we ladies have to be in general a little bit more detail-minded so the babies get their diapers changed sufficiently frequently :).

Women are so skilled at putting their hair in a bun. Men.. not so much.

Women are good listeners and can actually find things around the house. Men, not so much. :)

I beg to differ. If you want to know where something is around this house, ask me. And I seem to have a knack for listening to people who have problems.

It's one thing to be a good listener when confronted with a certain situation but I'm talking about men being good listeners in general. If you are good at that, then you are in the minority of men. I constantly hear women say their husbands are not good listeners (selective hearing) and can't find anything around the house. I've been accused of that myself from my wife.

Ladies, how many of you would say that your husbands are good listeners and can always find things around the house?

Thought of something else. :D Their voices. I don't mean all guys' voices, I guess, but when a man has a nice voice, he REALLY has a nice voice. Maybe men think the same way about women's voices, I wouldn't know. :p

I absolutely agree with you here, I love a man who has a strong, deep voice, at least for me it feels like I would be protected whenever I would hear it. I mean it doesn't have to real deep, but in all honesty you can tell a lot about man by their voice.

I'm no singer, but I used to sing in our church choir, and during practice the men would sit behind the women on the second row. Hearing those male voices rise up in their parts and harmonies always gave me chills. So beautiful and powerful.

Hmm, I never really identified why nice voices are nice. I thought it had something to do with resonance... or something. :p

Maybe the protectiveness you're talking about comes through when a man speaks with confidence?

Many women have the ability to take something rather average and make it beautiful and pleasant to look at...they can see how things should look. I am amazed at some womens ability to see something like a empty house and make it a beautiful home. Or a Christmas tree and make it something special.

That...doesn't help! :p I had to ask. I've received compliments from having a deep voice, but I'm not quite sure I understand what about that is attractive/masculine.

Umm... I'll try to pin it down a little better. (I've never heard your voice, so none of this is supposed to be specific to you. :p)

If you were in a cavern, sounds would reverberate more, they would kind of hang in the air... and if you were in a padded cell (no comments, people!) then sounds would be sort of dull and... lifeless? Short-lived? Well, that's an extreme example, but certain voices reverberate more than others all on their own. Deeper sounds (usually men's voices as opposed to women's) tend to have a longer "life" and a more pronounced reverberation. It also helps them carry over longer distances. And I think it's the reverb that makes them sound really nice. :p

Not that women sound awful or anything, it's just different.

I like it when men are humble enough to acknowledge that they need God's guidance. I know some men like to feel in total control so I bet it's hard for them to do that.

I also admire when men put their families first. For example, when a father stays home to spend time with his wife and children instead of going out for beers with his friends.

Also, I like it when they treat their mothers with respect. I once heard a pastor call his mom "my first blessing." I thought that was so sweet!

one time, friends and i were hanging out at a house. when i decided to leave and got to my car, there was ice all over my windshield (darn winter weather). i went back inside to see what i could use to get it off (texans don't have ice scrapers! lol). and one of the guys (without me even asking) decided to scrape the ice off for me.

i like it when guys do stuff like this: volunteer to help :)

I like it when a woman can appreciate a guy who's humble. :)
