Bored? You're a smart girl aren't you, milady? Yes, you are.

You have many gifts? Yes, you do. God gave us all special gifts, some received more than others, hence, the parable of the talents, but you got them (plural), I see them in your writings on c.c., and, also, your response to others, you speak with a certain maturity about you, milady. Maybe that makes sense since you are a blue angel :)

Everything is good from Him, too, that's good, you painted your nails (I'm guessing in pretty blues with white intricate angels wings :) ) and I walked my dog (a few times a day). You know though, the difference between you and me's weekly adventures is that I don't count my times doing things as 'boring.' I see them as 'exciting,' because I know that what I do is from Him. God is NEVER boring in my life, that is the attitude I choose to keep and, I know, I know, I am older than you and you have a lot on your mind. But, really, we are one in the same, we both love God and we both do things to try to please God in our lives :)

God is with you, too, blue seraphin, besides what i've said to you before, 'The Lord leads,' I have this to say to you now too....

The Lord helps us when we are bored. He will provide good things for you to do, teach you great things.

Jesus speaking:
John 14: 26 - "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and, bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. "

The verse before says: These things I have spoken to you while being present with you.

This goes to say, taking in context with verse 26, that Jesus was saying to his apostles that He will be present with them (in Spirit) once He left Earth. :)

That's neat, isn't it :) \\

Now, don't just now get up and go apply for that bible teacher job for your church just yet, but with His power in you you can do 'that' IF it is in His will. Might be. Might not. Maybe bible teacher assistant is better. Just depends. Let the Lord lead, He will help you, as you pray and go forward. :)

Sweetness... :p
Actually, I painted them red with black spots, like lady bugs. :)
But it's not normal for me to paint my nails.
I wish I had a pet.

lady bugs? One time, I was out at the ocean where my mom lives and my sister, her three little ones and I were walking on the beach and there were like suddenly all these red spots on these big piles of sand. We went closer and, it was like THE BEES or THE BIRDS , they flew at us and started biting us to death---Uh, oh, no, that's not exactly true....

Actually, that is not true at all, we walked over to the big 20 foot high sand hills and saw all these lady bugs. This was 3 summers ago and ladybugs were there we guessed because it was a rare 90 degree day , which is just not a happening thing at the ocean. It's usually 70 degrees in Seattle and 60 at the ocean, the ocean air cools the area off is the weatherivity of it all :D

But this was a 'Pineapple Express' time and that is why the ladybugs were out enmass at the beach !

God is so good. His world is filled with awesome wonder, how great Thou art :)

A pet ?

OK, yes, IF that is the Lord's will of responsibility for you now and would be committed then great. But, girls at your age, ummm, I think mom and dad would probably think that you getting a pet would mean them feeding it, taking it poop 2-3 times a day and just generally that kind of stuff . But, IF you ask for anything that is in His will for you it will be done, milady, blue seraphin it shall be a wish granted :)

And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14:13

The bible tells us to be unequally yoked for a reason. You'd be pulling in separate directions and to what end? I agree with what some of the others have said. i dont believe there is a perfect person out there for everyone. What if this supposed perfect person ended up marrying someone else. Would you then have no one to marry? Im not saying you wont feel that it's right when you meet someone. Ive heard ppl talk about that. but i think there could be several different ppl who you'd prolly be just as happy with. Trusting God and asking Him what he thinks though is so very importaint.

It's always hard dating someone who doesnt believe as you do. God is the most important thing in our lives! If you're going to maybe eventually share you're life with someone you want to be able to talk to them about what God's showing you and dealing with you about!! If you dont have that therell definitle be tension.

You mentioned being afraid to ask God.......I dated a guy for nearly 3 years and i wanted it badly to work out. I was ready for my happy ending like everyone was getting. I loved him and was afraid to really give it to God and ask him because of what he'd say. But deep down I knew there was something not right. This guy didnt practice what he preached. He would say one thing and live another. i couldnt trust him. But i wanted it to work in spite of it all. I was done looking...yet so unhappy. Finally God got my attention, I had many firiends and my pastor as well who talked to me about some things and Im so thankful they did. I would have made a horrible mistake. Not that he was a bad guy. I look back and Im so thankful I made that decision. It was hard yes but when God is in control...things will always turn out right.

I understand you're still young...but if I could stress something to you. Put God first. Trust Him. Ive found that to be the best decisions I have made. Its not always easy because you don't know what direction he'll lead you...but its definitly worth it. God could have wonderful plans for you if youll allow him to work. When we get in the way there's always a mess...believe me Ive lived that! Be encouraged...and PRAY! Who you marry is the second most important decision you'll ever make! you wanna make sure its right :)

Now, milady, this is not to say I don't agree with you getting a pet, you KNOW you 2nd best in life (God knows us best), and, IF you think that you would be able to handle a cat or dog and mom/dad agree, go for it ! Pray about it, it might be a GREAT idea for your life. Maybe a lesser pet too. What about going to get a whole bunch of fish or maybe a couple parakeets ?

Blueseraphin, sorry, if I don't sound supportive, I am , of His will for you :)

I've owned three or four pets, but they all aren't mine anymore .
I had a dog, but she had seizures, and we put her down so she wouldn't suffer.
I had a few fish, but they don't live long anyway.
I had a ferret, but I had to sell her with my sisters ferret, so they wouldn't be separated.
I've owned pets, and I've proven responsible, all I have to do is find one.

My goldfish told me I can no longer speak to you, since you referred to fish as "lesser pets". :p

They are... Goldfish are cool when they get the size of a toaster oven, but other than that, they're kinda ... ehh...
You can't exactly play with fish either, and you can't cuddle with them.

Cooooool, blue seraphin. That's a big deal that you've owned 3-4 pets, all varieties. Sorry about your dog, I had a cat for 10 years, from age 9 to 19, I went off to college my freshman year and it was 4 hours from home so too far to come home very often but, yeah, after springbreak at home I went back to school and then came home next for the summer time and as I walked through the door all happy for summer, my cat did not come and greet me like the big, black, (highly) loveable long-haired furball always did and then mom broke the news that he got a kidney infection, he went to the vet but didn't make it. He licked his fur all the time, doctor said he died from the furballs . :(
That whole summer I was up in my room just listening to music, I think that was why. It was a major downer losing my best bud :(

It was tough for me taking care of animals, I admit. I had a guinea pig mom and dad got me when I was 13. I never asked for it though and was not ready to take care of Spook, he was a good ole boy, big as a toaster oven, lol. He ate well :D He was cute and I tried sleeping with him but I was afraid after trying one night that I would crush him so he slept in his cage :( Those years I will be the first to say were tough because I had so much going on in my 7th grade, 8th grade life and changing out his pen every week and feeding him often was so much responsibility . Then parents started fighting and I was away from home more and Spook pretty much got a lot less attention and I don't even know when he died hardly :( . I just was unable to be responsible enough to take care of him I learned....

I was selfish, really, but it was just a wrong time of my life to have a pet that required that much maintenance and guinea pigs are MUCH maintenance ! But I sure did love that furball too. My cat, I guess, was a lot more resilient and surely mom and dad when I was younger helped a lot with changing cat box and feeding him and paying for his food too .

mom and dad wanted me to be responsible and it was just not to be, with Spook but I did give my cat good attention all the time, he slept with me EVERY night from when I got him as a kitten til time left for college .

God is good, I thank Him for all my GREAT experiences that helped me realize myself better in life :)

I appreciate that, thank you, blueseraphin. The Lord leads. IF that is what He wants, then that is how we can talk, milady. But, that said, how about you PM me whenever you want to talk and you are majorly bored out of your skull, fair enough ?

I just wanted to catch up with you tonight, and, see that you were doing good, since we talked last about that guy and everything else last weekend. It seems you're doing well. Good, good. That is music to my ears, and, His :)

I think, too, the Lord might be leading you to go get a pet. My friend had a ferret, boy did that cute bugger waddle (slink), smelled like horrible but was so cute that I got over the smell easily. I really would recommend a guinea pig, I loved Spookers but just was wrong time to have him in my life as a young teen. But if you want a pet to sleep with and not just cuddle and have your pet whenever they see you come in the room do this cool 'squeak!, squeak!' 'squeak!' sound, then, in that case, get a cat or dog :)

Big dog, big appetite, much money to feed, but, the Lord leads, so.......

But small great dane. hmm, ok, cool.

Pray about what kind and size and pet would be perfect for you, blue seraphin Then go to a pet shop and listen to God's lead. If you are at a time that is in agreement with Him for you to have a pet the right one will make self clear.

Talk over things with your parents too, milady. Remember to honor you momma and daddy. God stresses that very important in scripture :)
