Seduction/Temptation. It feels good, it looks good, it tastes good, it sounds good. But is it good?

As it was written:

Ecc 1:8 All things are full of labour; man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.

Yes, it is the wiles of Satan to seduce. It isn't a loud war, but a quiet war. A war of the members. Besides, how could it be temptation if you did not desire it?

Yes, desire. Desire to want and to have. Desire to lust. Desire to eat of the forbidden fruit. It looks good, they say it is good, they say it feels good. But is it good?

And what is the cost for my desire? What if, but for a moment, or a few moments, to enjoy it for a while? Yes, seduction. The seduction of Delilah to discover the weakness of a man. Who can escape the embrace of seduction? Who can fight her off? She is like a charming snake, she is beautiful in a strange way as she perches high, but no one is ready for her strike. She lures you in, and when the trap is set, she wraps her body around you, taking the very life out of you. Seduction.

How can you fight her? How can you rebuke her? Isn't she on your mind at night, when you wake up? Isn't she with you everywhere you go? She is there when the high times are gone, and when the lights are out, to call you with her enticing chant. She is a world of iniquity, and she has killed many men. She has destroyed many families. She has overcome many young men. Who can fight her? Who desires to fight her?

WAKE UP!!!! STOMP THE HEAD OF THAT SERPENT!! CLOSE YOUR EYES TO HER BEAUTY! CLOSE YOUR EARS TO HER WHISPERS! CLOSE YOUR MOUTH AND EMPTY YOUR BELLY! SPEAK THE WORD OF GOD! PLEAD THE BLOOD OF JESUS! FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT! DON'T MAKE PROVISION FOR THE FLESH TO FULFILL THE LUSTS THEREOF!! STOP BEING DOUBLE MINDED! CRY OUT TO THE LORD!! GREATER IS HE THAT IS WITHIN YOU THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD!!!

May Jesus bless you.

Seduction just led me to feelings of regret and shame. I know Jesus has forgiven me for my downfalls, but to turn away and speak against it was the solution that has helped me overcome. I recognized that temptation/seduction and that it wasnt from God. Its as easy as that :).

Know that men are not the only ones who struggle with this, though many women will not admit it.

Certainly. Yes. It is an evil spirit. He was right, needs to be rebuked.

It is another tool of sin, glamorized and popularized in modern youth culture in many nations around the world.

Seduction will do irreparable damage to your mind and your heart, and, maybe even, your soul.

18I know that nothing good lives in me,
that is, in my sinful nature. For I have
the desire to do what is good, but I
cannot carry it out.
...
24What a wretched man I am! Who will
rescue me from this body of death?( Romans 7:18-25)
All of time as far we are living in the flesh will be it is.:(
Therefore Jesus Christ died for our sins and was raised to life for our
justification. :) Unfortunaly we can't have justification through good deeds.

know that a man is not justified by
observing the law, but by faith in Jesus
Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in
Christ Jesus that we may be justified by
faith in Christ and not by observing the
law, because by observing the law no
one will be justified(Galatians 2:16)
Of course we must fight against our sins.
P.S.Here are some advice for us
Titus(3:10-11)
Well and Maybe:
Matthew(7:6)
I hope it helps. May God bless you, Ramon :)
