Don't get me wrong, ah mean, I get it. Most of us want to meet "the one" and live happily ever after. And I am not against the desire, I mean God Himself would have put the desire there.... But it's quite possible we are going about it the wrong way...

God's advice to us is found in (Matt 6:33) which saids
Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all things shall be added unto you.

Don't want to sound spooky spiritual or anything because I am a strong advocate for being naturally Christian. But, I am of the strong belief if we prioritize God's business most likely the things we desire will be granted unto us.( Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord, He will give them the desires of their heart)

Get lost to the world in His presence!!!:)

yeah, we have always to check if our desires are aligned with what He has in mind for us , if it isnt being caused by pressure from friends, family etc or we might end up where and with who we shouldnt be

I agee that if you spend your time trying to be obedient to God and trying to live your life as best you can, He will bring a suitable mate into your life - but it is up to us to pursue that person.
