This was in NC. I live in Central VA. In fact I find Evangelical conversation to be saturated with sex.

But I could just be chill'n with different evangelicals in the Bible Belt.

Willie Sutton supposedly said this about why he robbed banks:
"because that's where the money is."

So.. go to a women's bible study if you're single... because that's where all the ladies are.

Oh, I get that angle but wouldn't that be intruding on their 'girl time'?

Hmm.

Yes. And then they can't rag on you behind your back because you're right there. I guess it has it's own problems too doesn't it.

No, i just like the word sex........
Well then you would have liked that video...

It's a broken robot that just says sex repeatedly.

Hey guys, I thought this was interesting and illustrative of a problem with the Church today.

http://christianchat.com/search.php?do=process

Scroll to the bottom and look at the size of "sex" in proportion to "Jesus" and "Prayer."

What are your thoughts?
My thoughts are that there must be a lot of people out there who are looking into Christianity, but they have some questions that they are too embarrassed to ask churchgoers for fear of being judged. So they search it anonymously on a forum instead.
It is much easier to ask churchgoers or Christian friends about Jesus, love, And prayer than it is to ask them about personal issues relating to sex. That is perhaps why the others are less searched for in secret.

The internet provides a safe hidden way to find out about these things...to state the obvious. :D

As someone said, it makes little sense to do a search for "Jesus" on a Christian forum, you can just as well screoll through the list of threads. How many searches are needed to get something on the list? I want to make something appear there... what about.. hmm... Cookies!

This is a Christian forum.
Most threads include Jesus and prayer somewhere. It's a bit redundant to use it as a tag.

It's odd we bring up church and sex. I never thought of a church as a place for sex ed. It's not taboo, but when does it come up, after communion?

Some days I'm reading threads and things are SO WEIRD that the only thing I'm searching for is the exit.

Has anyone here read Song of Solomon? It is a book of the bible yet churches are too timid to read or preach on it. Now there are some really down packed practical teachings right there.
