My advice will be...

Get to know the person in friendship, if after been friends you belive it could be the right person, pray a lot about it.
Get to know if both have common vision of life , if both love God and if both are seeking to grow up as better person in Christ.

That's not true with everyone. In fact my neighbors are one of them that did make it work. See, he was from Ohio and his wife was from Oregon and they fell in love writing letters and talking on the phone and they currently have five children and can be as happy as can be.

Personally, I am more of a savoury person and find chocolate too sweet. But I do like my pastry. And bacon. If you won't share it then I will have to confiscate it and be on my merry way, laughing maniacally as I eat your bacon.

Every hard question can be answered with bacon. Do I continue dating this person? Answer: bacon. Will they share the bacon, will they cook you bacon? Will they give you bacon even when it's not breakfast time? It's the ultimate decider.

How a person also treats people like waitresses/waiters and store clerks. I dated a guy who was super nice to me but treated those people like they should lay down and let him walk on them so his feet didn't touch the floor. And he never left a tip in a restaurant. If I ever date again I would watch that closely.
