Yes, I was a baby when they took me. I don’t remember it at all but apparently that was the first film I saw in theaters.
Maybe it was the dollar movies. Lol
She doesn't remember it, but apparently it scarred her for life, because she is obsessed with it now. :p

Speaking of The Little Mermaid, here's something I find a little embarrassing.

I like the song "Under the sea" from the film. :)

When I was little I was trying to get a rope up over a tree limb and make a swing, but couldn't throw it high enough. So, I tied a brick to the end of the rope and threw it over and it made it! Only I was holding the other end. It came back around and hit me in the forehead and knocked me out cold.

Am I allowed to laugh?

I'm uncomfortable in large crowds. But that is not the embarrassing part. Its me pretending not to be uncomfortable that's really embarrassing.

Nothing that's over-the-top embarrassing, just something you find a little embarrassing.

Here's mine.

I'm still scared of the dark at 31 years old. Whenever I lay down to go to sleep, I always leave the TV or computer on in my room because I'm too scared to lay there in darkness.

You know that irrational fear some children have that someone or something is going to get you when you're in the dark? Yeah....I guess I never grew out of that.

So that was mine.

Your turn. :p
You’re not alone :) I’m almost 31 and sleep with a light on when I’m the only one home.

I'm more scared of roaches, but I can definitely understand being afraid of flies. They are pretty creepy looking up close. And even if you're not afraid of them, they can still be really annoying.

Not to mention they're hard to kill too.

Ouch! This makes me feel old. I remember walking to movie theaters as a kid. I complained when they raised the price from 10 cents to 15 cents. It was a nickel to take a city bus. When I started driving, gas was 19 cents a gallon. I guess I am old.

I have trouble telling left from right to this day. So does my hubby. But, I learned a droite and a gauche in French in high school, and I have never had a problem instantly remembering which is which. Then I learned German in high school, and no problem remembering links = left and rechte = right. I think learning them later in life helped.

I am not embarrassed by much. I was embarrassed by my temper, but it is pretty much gone now. I feel embarrassed sometimes that I look healthy, and yet I cannot help out at church pot lucks, or in the Sunday School because of infections from the kids, and my immune system is so weak. I also get embarrassed riding my scooter, and then getting off and walking. I worry people think I am just lazy. Not that it is their business.

Wow! I found a lot of old lady things I am embarrassed about. I won't even get into those pesky, old lady chin hairs! LOL

My walls normally have very little decorations, and I get comments on it. "Your walls are bare!" "You have nothing on your walls!" "Your home is so simple!"

I have webbed toes on both feet. And on my right foot, all the nails are thick, hard and yellow. But the nails on my left foot are normal..

Yay for bare walls! I never have understood why some people feel compelled to fill empty wall space.

what do you use for curtains?

When I bought my first house and was living alone, I had a blanket up in the bedroom window for a curtain.
At Christmas my sister felt she needed to put up a Christmas tree for me. The next summer, it was still up.
