Social artist.... i think if you worded your posts a bit differently, maybe people wouldnt be so quick to jump all over you about it. So instead of using words like "there crawling everywhere" you could be a bit more tactful.

So dont whine when "the big bad cc people" all voice there opinions going against your train of thought.

Your sisters a smart lady, because of course EVERYONE KNOWS when you use contraceptives you cant get pregnant

Im one of those women as DJ said " couldnt control my youthful lusts" and i got pregnant...and we were even using..... you might wanna sit down for this socialartist....we were using contraceptives :0 I know this must be shocking news!!!!! Its gonna be ok, i'll pray for you.

Dear lord,

Give socialartist some wisdom, and the right words to say to these single mothers so he doesnt end up alienating himself from his church. And father give his sister a pair of glasses so she might read the back of a big box of Trojan condoms. Act quickly lord before the only woman who wannts him is a single one crawling around his church with 5 kids.

Not another purpose, but an open miind, to some small extent aids discussion, my first post was in large support of your perfectly reasonable feeling that you won't date a single mother, and you slammed me for no reaosn.

You've agreed with one person on this thread, they guy who agrees with you 100%, colour me surprised. :rolleyes:

I digress.. no matter how I worded it.. people were going to JUMP ALL OVER this topic.. and they are crawling everywhere.. like you said.. "you're one of those women" .. so you took everything I said out of context.. as you're doing.. I clearly stated they were GREAT WOMEN.. and you're taking it personally.

You see you're failure to commune with me is the following.. you specify that you're supportive and then you go and make a statement that I'm only agreeing with the guy who agrees with me, questioning me.. so if I were gonna start listening to as you state your cause.. you go and incite me again.. defeating the purpose.. make your case for peace and leave it at that

You say you aren't looking down on "THESE PEOPLE" (fellow christians btw), yet you use the same sort of phrasing regarding them as one would use when speaking with an exterminator about an infestation.

I don't have a problem with someone's dating preferences in this regard, but I have a big problem with publicly slapping people around who are slapped about and judged by non-christians most likely on a day to day basis. I can't imagine what a surprise it must be to them to see such a lack of compassion from christians. No wonder so many of them give up and walk away.... Father have mercy on us.

So crawling .. is your sticking point on this issue?

You said they're great women. Fine. But the entire reason for your post was, essentially, to complain about them. Saying in one sentence that they're great and then using phrases that imply their unworthiness in multiple other posts is very contradictory. Like I said before, I don't think it's necessary for all guys to WANT to date single mothers. I know that it's extremely difficult and comes with a lot of "baggage" but also like I said before, it's the attitude that comes across. That's why I mentioned the heart change. Not condemning you, just trying to show you a different perspective on your view.

I’ve been a single mom for 7 years because I am a WIDOW. I’m also thinking about ADOPTING a child. Assumptions are dangerous.

If someone has an opinion different then you <you meaning general populace> they are a whiner.
Get real , learn to have conversations with rational thinking.

The guy has a legitimate opinion. Let him have his opinion.

Statisitcs.....and not the ones that spring up apparently wherever you step.

Is everyone blind to the fact that women these days celebrate promiscuity just as much as guys do? Even the christians....

I don't have any problem with not wanting to date someone with a kid, or whatever other reason you don't want to date someone for. We all have our preferences and can make our own choices.

I just really don't see how much, if any, good can come out of a thread like this. It looks more like an announcement that is just saying: "I'm disappointed that every girl I start talking to at church turns out to be a single mother... and I don't date women with kids!"

I'm not sure if you're looking for encouragement or support or what.
I can't help but wonder how different this thread might've looked if it was just simply stated "I'm discouraged because I can't meet what I think is the right woman for me at church."

And now he knows not to look to you for a date. Im sure he thanks you for both proving his point and narrowing his field.

i know of TWO count it...TWO christian girls over the age of 25 that are still virigins.....and they are VERY proud of it....and i sure hope any potential husband they have will be too.

Not all single mothers are single mothers as a result of promiscuity

And there is a 14 year old girl at my church who just gave birth. She wanted to have a baby SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad.....

Now the boyfriend is in jail and the guys friend is threating to kill her father if he doesn't withdraw the charges.

Assumptions aren't dangerous. Counter Point.
