Go by foot, bike (or wheelchair) to work or local shops. You buy less (if you do it to the store), get exercise, you don't need to go to the gym and you save gas money.

Don’t be tight with money when it comes to giving to others and the Lords work. We are not to be like the world in that respect and just build bigger barns for ourselves. Time and time again I have found that I cannot out give God. He is no mans debtor.

When I was in the worship team for example I use to get a taxi to church Sunday morning. As had two saxophones and bag of music. Plus also on returning home late from rehearsals. It cost me around £60 per month.

I was a little concerned about that but within months I got pay rises which covered this and much more.

I’ve had many such examples.

If you have spare room, rent it out for long term or Airbnb. If you do Airbnb, make sure to set boundaries! The guests might take advantage of you big time!

This was good. Never be tight with money when it comes to charity and doing God's work.

One thing that helps us save is...

Taking your own lunch to work instead of buying lunch. If I do buy my lunch, it only happens once in a week lol.

And ALWAYS buy toilet paper in bulk when its half price because no matter what, you are going to need toilet paper.

And when the more expensive self-care products like shampoo and moisturizers are half price are half price, I buy two lots to last me until the next 50% off sale.

The inner Asian in me always looks for the bargains and sales... my el-cheapo mother taught me well.
I hardly ever buy anything at full price...even meat at raileys they have about to expire steak marked down almost half price...i;m on that..take it home cook it then freeze it good for a long time after that :)
