My dog would probably say -

That I keep him up too late
That any sock I leave on the floor is obviously a chew toy I left out for him
That any milk left in the cereal bowl after I eat my Froot Loops is clearly his
That ice and snow are not legit reasons to discontinue our runs
That I need to stop vacuuming up the leaves that stick to his fur. He works hard to carry those in.
That chasing squirrels isn't worth the trouble since I put up the invisible fence
That he is entitled to the last word
That I should get up when the alarm first goes off. The snooze alarm bothers him.

They would probably tell you about all the times I've threatened to eat them if they didn't stop yapping.

What my dogs would probably say:

My Rottweiler: hey Cruz, how about a new padded bed for me, since I am not getting any younger.
I could use more baths now and then.
My Dacshund: come on Cruz, I need a new friend, the other guy is getting old.
Gee, I hope this guy would by me more chew toys.

Tequila (my cat): "I wish mummy would'nt give MY FOOD to those crazy noise ducks outside!! Thats MY FOOD MY FOOD MY FOOD"!!

ME: "Tequila, you have food to spare for the duckies, be a good kitty and learn to share."

Tequila: "Forget it!! Thats my food and I'm not sharing my food with no ducks. You just wait, mummy, when you go to bed I left you a little furry surprise under the covers. Bwahahahahahaha!!!! :)

Years back when we lived on a farm one of our cats brought a mouse into the bed while we were sleeping, trap and all. NOT a great thing to wake up to. :)

Julianna, yeah that would really suck!! :( However, Tequila is a completely indoors cat, and putting a "furry surprise" in my bed is just one of the many evil thoughts that cross her mind each day!! :)

Last year I fell asleep all snuggled up in a recliner in my livingroom (I confess to having been online until about 2 AM on that Saturday night). Early the next morning I felt something slapping at my foot. With eyes still closed I thought it was probably my dog. Then I realized that whatever it was kept slapping my foot far harder than my little dog's tail possibly could. I woke with a start to a strange dog in my house. It was a young dog that appeared to be a pitbull/Boston terrier mix with huge paws. :) It was very sweet and friendly, and apparently followed my dog in through the doggy door. :) I felt fortunate that it wasn't a skunk or something! :)

Jullianna, you're lucky it WAS'NT a skunk! Or a raccoon or other equally undesirable animal. I like raccoons, their fascinating to watch, but they sure make a mess of things! :)
