yep, I'm squirming all right... excited and nervous about today. Will go post more about that in the charcoal thread to avoid unwanted nausea, LOL.

WOH... I need to get ready to go! It's a quarter to nine... I should be leaving here in an hour or so... I'm in my jammies still, and haven't gotten all the tools and the table and.... all that other stuff out of my car.
wait.
This is exactly what I wanted.
(deep breath) This is the timeline I had intended and can accomplish what needs to be done.

Thank you CC for sucking up the last two hours for me. You're a good timesuck and good in countless other ways too.

Made lemon bars (or attempted to) last night. They were so sour nobody likes them.

I really would love a Gingerbread Latte right now. I wonder if they're out yet? I know they are in the UK...but not sure about the US.

It's weird. I'll get real excited for Christmas sort of pretty early. Then Christmas day comes, and I'm just like, "Oh. Christmas. I know I didn't get anything special." Sure, that's not the reason you should get excited for Christmas, and please don't try to Jesus Juke this. If you guys knew me, you'd know that I don't have a materialistic bone in my body. I just don't.

I'm between staying home tonight or sticking to my promise to myself to go out more and go to a small Indie band venue. It's suppose to be chill music. Might be something I would like. I braved 1 socially awkward outing yesterday by going for coffee somewhere new alone. This will also be alone if I go tonight.

Well I am embracing the awkwardness and sticking to the promise and challenge I made. I am here, alone, at the venue. Ladadadadadada. Waiting for music to start, sitting alone. High school all over again Hahahahahahaha!!

I have found lounge bars to be cool places to hang out alone. The music is cool and even the crowd is relaxed.

This could be a good thread title 'What are your favourite places to hang out as a single'?

Scene: Single girl fiddling with her phone and smiling while at a music venue.

Guy's analysis: She is waiting for someone.

Moral of the story: Get off the phone. :p

I neither like nor dislike shakespeare, but I do think romeo and juliet was a cool movie (the original from the 60's).

Today I was very grumpy, lol.
So at work there is this highschool aged girl, that is very nice and polite and is very helpful as well!
But sometimes the things she says gets under my skin because they can be kind of persnickety...so I told her to 'go on and get' today...perhaps I should learn better etiquette? lol. The answer is yes.

I'm such a jerk sometimes lol... :/
