Question. Does the big group in here from the singles section ever meet up in the chat room in the evenings anymore?

I used to really enjoy spending time with you guys there and wondered if that was still a thing. Lol.
I started a thread to make it easier to coordinate chat times. It helped with a few chat meetings. Let us know when you will be there.

My problem is everyone comes in right when I'm going to bed.

Another suburban family morning.
Grandmother screaming at the wall.
We have to shout above the din of our Rice Crispies
We can't hear anything at all.

Mother chants her litany of boredom and frustration,
But we know all her suicides are fake...

Yet I was the kid that dug down deep in the cookie crisp cereal for some cheap tatoo or generic magnify glass rollseyes :)

Mom used to say
STOP
digging for the toy

Yet...
Why should we spill..all those preservatives and artificial colorings all over the table rollseyes

Sigh..oh well lol

I was like "At 10 AM? Haha, no, but thank you."

Also: The socks I'm wearing are inside out. Whoops!

Awww, is our bowharp getting set up?? Welcome to the wonderfully awkward world of dating!
My dating life is non-existent. Only through my friends. There's one particular friend who likes match-making me to her friends. Only problem is, the type of guys on each dates are getting worst...like.. really bad.

For example, the last date, I ended up with a stoned guy. A christian but with..some.....i dunno problems...

A friend and I was walking home from Regent college one day. We past a coffee shop and decided to sit down and have coffee together. We started to talk about a friend who I've become really good friends.

She turned to me and said, "Ada, is she really a good friend to you?". I asked, "what do you mean?".

She said, "every since you became "friends", have you ever had a fight?". I said, "No."

"then, how do you know if she's a good friend to you....How you both handle fights/conficts will determine the type of "friendship" you will have...

This got me thinking about finding a partner for life...

How swoony... Lol. Well, here's to hoping a decent guy breaks your current streak - if you even are interested in the whole dating scene.

Mmm, smart. A lack of conflict can mean good chemistry, but yeah, you want to know where you stand with someone when things hit the fan. Some people maturity and/or lack grace under pressure, making it easy for a minor falling out to burn bridges.

I'm not gonna say what thread, you can figure it out on your own, BUT....

OH MY GOSH of ALL the thread titles I have seen in CC over the years....the one I just saw beat them all.

...I need bleach for either my brain or my eyes. I dunno which. BUT EVERYTHING BUURRNNSS. GET IT AWAY.

Okay, sure, I might be overreacting a little bit....but I don't need or want to see that stuff. >.<
If I was still 17 I could have at least gotten away with the "There's a child in the forums!" excuse. *sigh*

At a thrift store supporting a developmentally disabled gentleman who is a "greeter" there, passing out sales fliers and stuff. I distanced myself from him to allow him to be more independent in his tasks. In doing so, I found a candleholder made of a bunch of glass bevels for $3. I plan to take it apart and make about 5 suncatchers out of it with some other leftover glass I have. Could probably sell them for $15 each.
Also a lantern that holds three votive candles and has 4 panels of fabric between thin clear sheets of glass. I think I'll replace those with floral and ivy stained glass The lantern is $4. I have no idea what to sell the repurposed version for.
Also a jar of marbles for 77 cents. I have no idea what I'll do with those yet.
