Ever feel like you're really bugging somebody, but they're just not telling you?

I feel that way every time I talk.
Yes, it took me awhile to figure this out, what others thought of me and more so what I thought others thought of me was disabling me to be who God made me to be.
And thus I was changed when I saw God has accepted me just the way I am. then in agreement with God, things that were not beneficial to me peeled off of me, as in like peeling an onion at first it hurt and I cried, but when I got to the center, I saw how sweet it is, and have not looked back since.
Hope this helps in your walk, it sure did make a change in mine

I had a niece that fell out of bed a lot when she was a baby. In her case though, I know why. She had a big head. It was a giant noggin, I mean enormous. It was really like a regular adult sized head honestly. We had to put regular size pillows in the crib with her. Poor little thing. Couldn't find a hat for her either. Most kids hat said something cute like 'it's a boy or 'it's a girl. Her's sad NASCAR. She's kinda growing into it now. It still flops around a little though.
Sometimes, when I'm reading your posts, my eyes get reeeeally big. It's kind of a relief when I realize you're kidding :p

*grabs soapbox...clears throat* Well...lol ummm...I'm not down with the whole "native american" thing. I sort of find that offensive really. Before we got here it was Indians & Mexicans...that was pretty much what all this land was comprised of,as far as people groups (to my knowledge). I think SD is on the right track with the name change. lol I remember once when I was in like 4th grade & we learned how actually Leif Ericson was actually the first European to hit North America, something like 500 yrs before good 'ol Christopher & I questioned my teacher as to why then are we told that Columbus "discovered" America, why not have Leif Ericson Day instead? She got really upset with me 'cause I wouldn't drop it & ended up sending a note home to my Mom telling her that I disrupt the class by being argumentative. lol I have no idea where she'd get that idea from...I'm so easy going & like a wee wallflower all dainty & such...........
Jim! Dontcha know public schools have to fill our heads with lies? They HAVE to. Them's the rules.

Anyway, isn't it too early in the day for a history lesson? Wait...maybe that attitude is why I didn't do well in school :/

I can't stand church anymore. I'm easily bored with the charade. Don't get me wrong. But, I just think what the Bible teaches should look drastically different then what we see.

Not quite. Most Mexicans have a fair amount of Spanish blood. The Mexica would have been there with the Indians, but the Mexicans not as much.
I stand corrected good Sir.

I want to get a golden retriever puppy and a little black kitten. The puppy shall be Thor, and the kitten shall be Loki.

I "liked' this only because it made me think of my dad and not because I like that it happened to you. Our house has a basement - not finished, just a root cellar really and it has wood steps going down and it's dark and dank, etc. Anyway I went down and was standing on the concrete floor when my dad came down and fell forward at the top step and then did the oddest thing. He slid down the steps just like a seal! He slid out into the floor a few feet when he landed and his arms were down by his sides and he looked just like a seal. I expected him to sound like 'ooorrrff ooorrrf and balance a ball off his nose.

I hate it but I laughed till I cried. I couldn't help myself and the fall truly about beat the poor man to death. He was over there grumbling 'not exactly sure what you're findin so funny bout all this' and I could not stop laughing. I just couldn't. I tried so hard but it just caught me off guard. oh well...
I am ashamed to admit that I completely understand this post. When I was little I was helping my mom carry groceries up the stairs in our apartment building in Germany and one of the neighbor's dogs had left a little surprise on the stairs. My mom slipped on it and broke her ankle. I couldn't stop laughing and she was really mad...at first. :)

And then there was the time she dropped bunk bed parts on her toe.....

I feel like I respond too much on this thread and I will soon be scolded by arwenbaggins, she will say , 'Off with that green's head,' and I will be a headless green, which reminds me, I'm glad those birds came in The Hobbit when the orc dudes on wolves were about to gobble them up with their ivory, blood-stained teeth, gnashing. But, Here He comes, not in a car, but just when we need Him, just what we needed is THERE, and, He 'drives' us to a safe place. Always being saved in the nic of His time from our firey 'furnace.' That's just like Christ to do, huh, His Spirit, like moving over the water, doing things in a mighty, and, yes, miracle way :) . When our lives look at our darkest hour, in the night, come the big birds of His Love (angels?) , to carry us away to safety, and, sometimes, it's a sublime rescue but other times He rescues us in a dramatic, 'swooping down with wings' way. :)

but , yeah, if I just say something it probably can get read, or, not by the person that the words are really for, even though all we say is for us all, in one way or another. WE all go through these 'things' in our lives, the same stuff, as we go through life, not exactly, but, hmmmm, I'm just wondering about this post now, to switch thought.

Truthsearcherbro, church is not the problem is it ? It's your understanding of your church, doctrine, typically. So, really pray to God for an understanding of what you truly believe as a far as the major differences of all the different denominations and find a Baptist, Methodist, Nazarene, Assembly of God, non-denom, church that suits you and don't worry ,if you pray to God, the church you pray for choosing will perfectly fit into your life :)
Church is important, it says dead-set in Scripture, that we are 'the bride of Christ.' It also says 'Do not forsake the gathering of the assembly.' This means DON'T talk bad about it, and, furthermore, don't forsake it yourself. Get in there :)
