Sorry, I don't like cricket. It's just a saying here in Australia for living a good number of years. But yes, I know of cricket because I'm an Aussie.

Where have you been? Yoda came back as a ghost long ago. He was sitting talking to Ben Kenobi.

I'm not making this up. Has nobody read the Star Wars books?

It is amazing how the media can influence people's reactions toward an extra-marital affair. If the media portrays them as victims of tragic love, then they expect us to feel sympathetic toward them. But does that make it right?

I think not.

No, not to read instead of watch, to read and to watch. I used to read quite a few Star Wars novels in latter primary school/early high school. There were some really good ones. Luke Skywalker finds love in a woman called Mara Jade. She's one tough cookie, but that's not all she is. She's probably the most interesting character in the SW extended universe (that I've read).

No, I had gone for a period film yesterday with my friends. It's a Hindi film about a Maratha king, who are staunch, upper caste Hindus, and his love for a Muslim princess. The king had gone to help defend the kingdom of the princess, and he fell in love with her. The film depicts about their love, how the king had to defend her honour even before his courtiers, the conflict between her and his first wife, the conflict between her and his mother and finally, his death from a mysterious fever. The entire film portrays their love as a union which was rejected by society only because of religion.

Check out the history of this king on Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bajirao_I (pronounced as Bhaaji-ra-o).

Ah, Mara. When she called Luke "Nerf herder" it was not a diss, but an acknowledgement that he was probably right in a situation involving a question of morals and ethics.

Guess that makes up for their first encounters when she wanted to kill him...

So, I dropped into the Singles chat room just now. It was filled with cobwebs and dust has settled on the furniture. :(

Pfft! Yeah right! You know in January and February people have nothing to do except hunker down and wait until winter is over. I predict marathon chats after the holidays are over.
