Sshh...sydlit will hear and then he will be pushing his agenda to turn every thread into one about the pants he's wearing on his head. I shouldn't have said anything.
If you have a crate for him, although you don't want to turn the crate into the place you always put him when he is bad, concerning waking you in the morning, it will quickly teach him to not wake you because he sees if he does then he will be separated from you in the crate with a blanket placed over it. It works.
Are you still talking about sydlit here?
You are, aren't ya?!

I KNEW it!

When my internet goes out, I turn into Macgyver....lol
True story. This was kodiak in college.

If you are from a place where snow isn't a natural part of winter...don't you ever go skiing...it's dangerous, unnecessary, ridiculous and 500 other terms for totally insane. Stay safe, stay indoors:mad:
When it snows here I go skiing in my car. I lock the brakes down and sliiiiiiiiiide! Nobody else is around because everyone around here is afraid of driving on snow, so I have the whole road to myself.

If there is any one thing on this planet you wish you could do... What would it be?

For me, it would be to have the power to take naps, and then wake up feeling refreshed and be able to go to bed on time that night and sleep through the night... Lil'Bit has never liked naps.. And today, I want one so bad... But I know I will feel worse, and I won't sleep tonight. It's a real bummer I tell ya... :(

For as long as I can remember I've wised I could heal (instantly and always), or at the very least that I could "absorb" other peoples pain.

A really cool thing happened today at church! An older lady I didn't recognize came in late looking a little bit sad. I was in the back row and gestured to the empty seat next to me. She thanked me as she sat down. During the two minutes in which people greet each other, she said that she hadn't been to church in months; her spine hurt so much. She added that she had told the Lord that morning that He could get her to church today, though. Throughout the sermon, I kept feeling that I should pray for her afterward the service was over. After the last "amen", I told her as much, and she agreed. We held hands and I prayed that she would be healed in Jesus' name, adding a few other things that came to mind to say. As soon as I was done, she hugged me as her eyes shone and said that that was exactly what she needed; that she couldn't even describe how her spine felt, that it was so amazing! As she walked away, she said quite happily, "now I can walk!". *praises the Lord* :D!!!!

I read the Bible regularly and books by other Christians about their relationship with God. I talk to God regularly. I sing praise and worship songs to God regularly (as a church and on my own). I enjoy deep discussions with family and friends about faith and life. But despite all of this, I struggle in my relationship with God. I struggle to hear from Him.

Or maybe I just haven't learnt to receive from Him.

My experience is that if you pray for something tangible, you probably won't get it, but that your attitude will change and you'll grow as a person.

Yeah, I agree. It is complicated.

Still, I'd love a tangible blessing. Like a job. That would nice after praying for all of these years for one and applying for many, many, many.
