So my computer, my BEST laptop, has begun overheating. It always had a bad problem with heat and apparently the overworked fan is finally giving out. I could replace the fan, but... I should have gotten a ThinkPad. I thought I could get away with an ASUS because ASUS is fairly good, but I knew I should have gotten a ThinkPad. Every ThinkPad I ever bought is still running fine.

I am considering hiring a team of mutant gorillas to smash this laptop until it is in 187,492 pieces. They will be given orders to not stop smashing until it is in the required number of pieces. Then I might burn the pieces.

I got that feeling when I was visiting my sister at the hospital and I popped down to the cafeteria for a snack. They were serving lasagna... I got the impression they were trying to drum up business for their new cardiac wing. "Here, enjoy it. See you soon!"
That is the most articulate advertisement for artery clogging food aka poison I've seen in a long time. Great idea.

I'm back on track with getting the planner I want to create, done. Whether it's the fast track, or the slow track, I have no clue. I'm pretty sure it's the slow one. I did get referred to a graphic artist, ny someone here on Cc, so that might be helpful. I still don't know yet. I also don't know how much this person will charge me, for making this how I need it to be made.
I was telling my husband about all the things I need in a planner, and he asked me why I don't just get different planners for each thing I needed, instead of carrying around one, huge one... I don't think he realizes that he basically just gave me permission to have 6 different planners, and 3 special notebooks. 9 planners in all, if you think of the notebooks as planners... He may have just created a monster.
Lucky for him, I know we can't afford that right now, so I haven't even bought one, and I'm still trying to put my own together. Maybe I can start blogging again soon, and when I have my house (getting closer, btw), I can also start the business I wanted to start, so we'll have that extra income. :)

Well I praise God that eating my lasagna isn't poison to my soul. For the outward man perishes more & more each day and we're not to worry about what we eat. God's not a man that he would lie to us. The Lord tells us that it's the evil that comes out of our hearts that defiles us, not food.

Mark 7
[SUP]5 [/SUP]So the Pharisees and teachers of the law asked Jesus, “Why don’t your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders instead of eating their food with defiled hands?”
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Jesus replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written:
'These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]They worship me in vain;
their teachings are merely human rules.’
[SUP]8 [/SUP]You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.”

Mark 7
[SUP]14 [/SUP]Again Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen to me, everyone, and understand this. [SUP]15 [/SUP]Nothing outside a person can defile them by going into them. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them.” [SUP][16] [/SUP][SUP]17 [/SUP]After he had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about this parable. [SUP]18 [/SUP]“Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them? [SUP]19 [/SUP]For it doesn’t go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.)
[SUP]20 [/SUP]He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. [SUP]21 [/SUP]For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, [SUP]22 [/SUP]adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, jealousy, slander, arrogance and foolishness. [SUP]23 [/SUP]All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”

I go to college next Mt. Sinai hospital and I will never get used to seeing nurses and some doctors smoking lol
We've got a surgeon in the family and he will always tell us for those who smoke or have self inflicted cases due to lifestyle go down on the list for assistance and surgery because it was totally within their control to prevent. I'm totally with them on that philosophy. With some, God just has to have learn the hard way as they've had all the inspiration in the world to do otherwise.

Right. It is what comes out of the mouth that make us unclean not what comes in.
