Okay...I'm back for now. Streams is too good to vent on. I could vent to my cat but she'd just stare at me blink and go back to cleaning herself.

I am getting bored with my job. I need a change. I applied to be a Autism Tutor and never even received a call... I reapplied and applied as a support worker for another agency. Been here for 2 years, I'm getting bored.

Prayers are most welcomed. I have the experience and personality/ character to work these jobs, but I'm coming up with nothing
Is that the cat from that new movie , 'LLewlyn?' pickynicky ?

Of all the coats I've made, I believe this one is my favorite.
if it's green, it's a favorite of mine, too, popclickedysnap :D

you're a seamstress. what a delightful gift. your real name is not 'Lydia,' is it? "Lydia" is in the bible, ya know, milady :)

Time to go walk the dog. She's recovering so nicely from hurting her leg in September, x-rays said 'knee,' potentially, although was not sure either, as I understood vet and knee doctor say. They did say surgery probably best option but.....I read on internet that knees can heal if care is taken. So, I went that route.

Been a lot of careful, watchful, guarded care, the Lord leads, but, leash walking and, low activity, a.k.a., "kennel-bound," has her walking good now, even trotting, running, but, I limit her doing that.

I do miss the hide and seek and chase games we played all the time her first 7 years of life, but her leg is just not what it used to be, in my parental opinion :D She's older, too, 8 in April, life changes, and, we should joyfully adapt, and, follow Him.

But, yeah, praise God ! She's healed. :O Prayer changes things :)

PersNickety, didn't you just get transferred to another location? Perhaps the new people you will be working with there will keep things more interesting. Praying for ya now.

Also, praying for YOU iTore. I love how you lay your words out on paper. Makes me feel like I know ya. My prayer for you is one of peace, assurance and a calm and quiet spirit. God has you in his hands.
I was transferred because of my injury only temporarily. I was actually more bored at the other locations then here. I think I just need a different type of job in the profession. And one that pays more than 12.56/hr with no guarantee of another raise. Being a autism tutor would be wonderful :s

Thanks for the prayer.

Okay what's with this Llewlyn Davis thing? It keeps appearing in my life. Starbucks has the soundtrack. I think I need to see a trailer. And nope, the kitty is my Sadie :)

You rock,GLR! :) TY as always for the prayers. If it's one thing I will always need growth in,it's in just letting God be God. Letting myself go & letting the Holy Spirit do His thing. I know we all deal with stress and/or our minds racing with a zillion thing's. (mad props to any of you who are single parents or married with kid's...I dunno how ya's do it)

@ pers...nice to have you back! (even if you were only gone for a few hours) :p You're in my prayers as well. Praying God will show you His plans for your life & guide you in the steps you need to/or not to take. You never know what amazing thing's He has in store for you (and Sadie) :)

I read Shor's Email about taking a sabbatical and Persnickety taking a break, I'll admit I've had a couple of moments when I've thought, I need a break from CC. I never seem to take one though. I think it's because I'm nosy. If you've ever seen Bewitched you'll remember Mrs. Kravits, that's me.

I've decided I'm just to nosy for a sabbatical, sorry.

There have been a number of threads in the past two weeks that I've not participated in. They are not bad threads, but just bring back too many bad memories. Even some of the threads I HAVE posted in do this. Sometimes, I feel sadness, regret, anger. More often, I just don't want to rehash things internally.

Does this happen to anyone else?

I thnk I feel a beach trip coming on.

Yeah, this has happened to me. And occasionally when I post it's kind of like going to therapy and having to talk about it, when I might not want to, so avoiding things can be good. Someone posted this on FB and I thought you would like this Cathearder and you too Persnickity.

This is what can happen when driving too fast in the wrong conditions!

Oh my, I live in a winter wonderland and I am always amazed at the lack of cautious driving when it's snowy, Icy or rainy.

I love that show Green. It's always funny. My Mother watched reruns of this show all the time. She really loves Lucy.
My family is from Jamestown New York and Lucy is from Jamestown, I was there yesterday and passed the DesiLu Museum.

All this talk of trolls has made me think of my son when I dressed him like a troll baby. /QUOTE]

how funny!

that fire truck onesie is so precious.

they just don't make enough fire truck themed clothes for guys!

Thank you, he's a good boy. He is now 8, time has gone so quickly. I miss these baby days sometimes. He had a lot of fire truck clothing when he was a little guy. I love baby jeans. Babies look adorable in jeans. I had a lot of hats for my son when he was a baby. I loved hats, one of my favorite was this little what they call a driving cap. I'd put him in his little baby jeans and his little baby gap sweatshirts and put the little checkered cap on his head. He looked so cute.

Now when he see's photos of the cute baby clothes I dressed him up in, I get a, "Not cool Mom."

I used to stand over my baby's cribs and make sure they were breathing. Or just watch them sleep, it's so sweet.

I do too, until I'm sure she's asleep, then I have to get to my own bed... Just makes me hope I get married again soon

Oh shoot now I want a baby.
I have an 11 month-old baby you could borrow for a while...it would be more cost-effective for you, and you could just give her back to me when she gets a little older and isn't as cute anymore...

What is wrong with me?!

I want one of those babies that don't cry or scream. My mom said I was a quiet baby, rarely fussed.
