Yes - it does right at first but then I'm told (and I quote) "it gets old very very quickly".;)

Hurray going for my flu shot. Hope I don't get the flu from it. I've been so opposed to getting it, but the whole H1N1 thing maybe I should.

Got much accomplished today. Thank goodness. We had a bit of a mess last night. Went to bed and found that our down comforter has a hole in it, that we didn't notice until we saw feathers flying. Had to get rid of it. Love the comforter, oh well, glad I have an old one to use. I love Down, but it's sort of a pain too. When you wash it it takes years to dry because of the feathers, so I think from now on I'll just stick with plain old comforters.

I know very boring, sorry. I don't have anything exciting to discuss. It's taco Tuesday, at least at our house it is. I've made that our tradition around here. Kids like it and it's easy.

Oh then I climbed Mount Everest. OK that didn't happen, but the rest of the story is so boring that I had to add something.

Nope...I actually bought my Jake (yes you read that correctly.."bought") on eBay a few years ago.

I haven't been to a McDonald's in...wow...like a long long time. I the last time I was there it must have been back when I was married,I think I begged my ex to make a U-Turn because I noticed the sign out front said "We now are serving Shamrock Shakes!" Those are like my complete & total weakness as far as nearly any sort of ice cream type junk food. I used to get so upset that they only sold them in March. lol

I used to love McDonald's shakes, I also loved the Shamrock shake, then I had one when I was about 4 months pregnant, it didn't sit well. Can't even look at them anymore. Plus the milk kills my stomach, I'm somewhat lactose intolerant now. When I say somewhat, I mean I can eat a Greek yogurt and a piece of cheese and be OK. But Ice cream can't do it anymore and a milk shake, I'd be in misery.

Geeze I just read this and I sound like I'm 85 years old. Well sonny, can't drink milk anymore and my bunions and arthritis are killing me, but other then that, I'm fine.
