I am so grateful for the loving messages of encouragement I have received from those of this forum recently. It has touched me in ways I cannot put into words, especially the messages from long time friends who are reading here, but not posting. You know who you are.

I just had a peanut butter & jelly sandwich. This was my breakfast...or is it my lunch? It's 9:49am I'm trapped in the middle...that moment where you shouldn't eat breakfast or lunch because it's neither. Sweet n Sour Chicken! This throws everything off. Hmmmm..maybe I'll be hungry again by 1,or maybe I'll just hold out until 6. I never did get that pizza I wanted.
I really want some coffee,but I think it's gonna hit 80 here today & for some odd reason,drinking coffee in hot weather just seems odd,unless it's early early in the morning & then sun is just coming up...it's still a bit cool out & there is dew on the grass. I am thinking I need to go live on a corner of Powemm's ranch. She get's to wake up like that everyday. I'm a bit envious & happy for her too. I keep looking in the mail for my invite. LOL

The Internet has been getting on my nerves lately, mainly because of the people I'm coming across on it. Maybe I need to step away from it a little more, find *gasp* actual hobbies that don't involve websites. I am seeing just how messed up humanity really is. People are candid about their depravity online, there's no bones about it. It reminds me just how depraved we as humans are. And how much in need of a Savior we are.
I'm reading poetry for my Literature. I'm reading an ode to chowder, wine, and tomatoes. They proceed to ask me what feelings it evokes in me and what kind of imagery I get from it. This is how I'm tempted to answer (and I just might since they're asking for my opinion):
The poem make me hungry. It also makes me imagine a bottle of wine with feet (in the poem it talks about "wine with purple feet."). In the ode to tomatoes, I pity the tomatoes (no joke, it talks about "murdering" the tomatoes in preparation for a meal). It makes me feel quite odd reading the poetry out loud.
