Taking a sudden and unexpected trip across the United States.

When first asked, I thought there was no way I could make this trip. After some prayer, I knew that God wanted me to make this trip to help a woman and her two daughters relocate over 2,000 miles away. The offer was answer to her many prayers.
Suddenly means by which to take the trip were provided from many different sources. We know that God has made a way there was no way.
So on May 1st, we will begin the drive from Ohio to Arizona expecting to arrive on Saturday, May 3rd. As of now I am not even sure how I am getting back. However, I know that God would not send me without means by which to return so I am going completely on faith.
God is so awesome. When he puts a plan together, amazing things take place. Here are just some of the things we have witnessed as God has made the impossible for this family a reality:
- Making me able to go with them to help with the drive. My clients not only were OK with me leaving for a couple of weeks, but offered me more work when I get back.
- Someone reserved a hotel for us so we could stop and rest along the way.
- $400.00 was donated to her by different people to help with gas and food for the trip.
- After mentioning to her the things we would have to do to the jeep to ensure a safe trip, someone that works at an auto shop donated all of the parts we need.

I am really excited and very honored to be doing this. I kind of feel like this familie's Moses helping them reach their promised land. :)
UPDATE:
Less than a day after I posted this, a friend of mine that is in Los Angelos, CA (only 6 hours from where I will be in AZ) called me on the phone.
God gave him a vision 15 years ago of him standing in front of the Hollywood sign with his arms outstretched looking up into the heavens praying over America. This past year, that vision became a reality and his Facebook picture is now a picture of him doing exactly that.
So he called me on the phone to ask the details of my trip. He started laughing when I told him I had no way to get back but that I knew God was going to provide. He then said, "Well, it sounds like you and I will be riding back together. I will pick you up on my way back to Ohio. God has provided."
I am super excited. I have always admired my friend, Aaron, as a great man of God. It is going to be such a great trip riding back together. Only God could plan such an arrangement like this.
Now, I have to also say that I just find it hilarious that I just said (in my previous post) that I felt like Moses leading this family to their promised land. And now will be meeting up with Aaron while I am there. God certainly has a great sense of humor! LOL
P.S. I'll be sure not to strike the rock more than once.

So here's one I've been mulling over lately...

I am a huge fan of the big bang theory, as many of you others here are as well. Well it may disappoint you to learn that I've found a pretty significant flaw in at least one episode, and a minor flaw in a second. Both regarding movies I am a huge fan of.

The first, from ep.14s.1, regarding my favorite movie as a strapping young lad, The Time Machine, starring Rod Sterling. In the particular episode it shows the characters remarking on operating the machine by dialing in certain dates. In the original movie it was simply operated by pushing the stick forward.

The second, regards a movie I won't mention, but one character suggests watching a four hour cut of the move...Sorry, I've searched, the longest cut is 3 and a half hours, no longer.

I must admit slight disappointment.

I must say,I am pretty excited about this...:D

The Walt Disney Company has announced the key cast members of Star WarsEpisode VII. They are:

No details were released on who the new actors are playing. Director J.J. Abrams had this to say: "We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again. We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud."

For vacation, I probably will not be taking a road trip at all. This seems to be concrete at this point (I know I have been posting back and forth on this). My sister and my brother are both coming up here in June during the same week, and I so I will be taking that week off so I can spend as much time with them as possible. I may take a weekend trip to see some friends in Kansas, but other than that, I will be saving up to do a nice trip next year. :)

As a side note, I've knocked 6 minutes off my 2 mile time on the treadmill. That tells you how slow I was (am) to begin with, but since I'm slowly and steadily improving, I don't particularly care how slow it is. :)

Well you do well to do the treadmill still for fun; some of us do it for heart testing, and not much else...

Your adornment must not be merely external-- braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on dresses; 4but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.

It's funny, a lot of the time I feel insecure about being as quiet as I am when it comes to communication with people; but this is what God calls his daughters to be.
Gotta know God has my back :) and go forth with it in maturity and resilience.

I also thought about going on another drive tonight before bed but I realized that I'm getting into a bad habit, lol.
I also denied tea because I feel at peace right now, I want to feel like this forever :D

Quote that made me chuckle:

“Socrates taught that
No evil could come
To a good man.
How does that help me?”

Woke up after having some odd dreams last night...sitting here making a list of the pros & cons in my life. Kinda depressing if I look at what reality shows me. Maybe I just need some coffee. I just dunno.:p
Just a thought, as might help in your dilemma

A saying I now use
"It is what it is"
It matters not where I am at or how I got there, where I am at now "It is what it is" whether I like it or not is this correct with you as well?
If you see this truth "It is what it is"
Will I, you, or anyone ever begin to heal and heal, if we do not accept what is, whether we like it or not, can we heal without first accepting it as what is?
Praying for you Brother
