I'm going a little crazy because there is this computer on sale locally that's exactly what I want for a really good price and it will probably be sold out if I don't buy it today, but it's $100 over my self-imposed imaginary budget and I really don't want to put it on my credit card. Oh the humanity!!

Note: I've been waiting for a deal like this to come along for about 3 years and here it is and I still don't know if I should buy it! :p
If you need someone to talk you into it, forget the imaginary budget brother. Go for it, buy it now!

i think we all agree god isnt a human nor an animal. so, why do we suppose god likes to be thanked? why would he like us to pray to him? because thanking is a typical human characteristic. and god is perfect, so not a human with human characteristics. maybe he doesnt like it at all

The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God's people, went up before God from the angel's hand.

I'm flipping a coin right now, seriously. If it's heads you buy....if it's tails you don't. Let's see what fate decides. Sec, flipping..........

Ha ha, that was epic. I'm on my bed, flipped a penny and it went down my shirt. So I had to stand up, it rolled out of my shirt and swirled around on the floor until it landed on heads. Congrats!

I agree, I hate misogyny. You have your typical MRA misogyny though where guys just whine and complain (That's why I'm always saying I can't stand mens rights activists ) but whatever these guys were saying on this other site was waaaaay worse than anything I've seen from that crowd. It's called PuaHate. The owners took it down a day or so ago because they wanted to avoid scrutiny, I managed to get this post from the southern poverty law center. Even has hate in the title of the site and the shooter guy posted there. Check this post from there out, I managed to find a post made AFTER the shooting.

"In a post from 2:48 AM today entitled, “A hero on Puahate; and conclusions thereof,” the user offered this summation: -Elliot Rodger is a hero
-Shot people
-Is now dead
-A puahate member
Keep in mind incels, this forum is a place to “funnel” dangerous people, and is being tracked. Keep your posts mundane and your @#$%^&* terrorist attacks to yourself."

Incel means "involuntarily celebate person". Somebody had the nerve to call that guy a hero for shooting defenseless ladies and stabbing his room mates to death?
wow. just wow.

hate is a disease.

more common that cancer & heart disease combined. and it kills, wounds and maims so many its wake.

it's frightening sometimes that we live alongside such people, never knowing what is brewing ahead.

several years ago, i lived down the street from a murder/suicide - she had divorced him years before, but he was apparently very angry that she (apparently) got more than she deserved financially and was soon remarrying.

it was (and still is) really hard to wrap my head around that kind of anger.

Misogyny seems to be a common topic around here.
I just don't get it.

When I'm upset with a woman... I just stop taking her calls.

Wow, a serious post. I was reading that thinking.....ok, here comes the punchline. Then I read "When I'm upset with a woman"......I'm thinking, here it comes...is it gonna be a good one? Then poof, no punch line :(

And what woman WOULDN'T always assume it was the guy's fault?

: )
it was a joke, quite apropos, considering the misogyny theme!!!.

however, i deleted it, since i was afraid that someone who didn't know me very well might think i was serious. : )

usually, i find that those opportunities serve to provide an opportunity for learning, and generally, some resolution.

then i delete him from my phone. : )

Let's try again.

When I'm upset with a woman, I don't wait for her to apologize,
I just send her a card that says, "I'm sorry."

Because we both know what she's thinking.

Stocking up in advance is brilliant.

I'll be stealing that idea.

I discovered today that fingernails are for more than just fabulous nail-polish-color-showing-off. Having long nails kept me from slicing off the tip of my thumb.

Royally screwed up my manicure, though.

The next time some misogynist tries to cast doubt on your long nails, tell him they are for eminently practical reasons. :)

Sorry about your accident, though.

so it's been awhile since i've been to archery practice. on the way home from the stable, i took my sack lunch and spent awhile practicing.

talk about humbling--annoys me up how quickly you can start to lose your aim and calibration.

anyway, i've decided i'm going to spend more time this summer staying in on point. ; p
