I think it's kind of gross that people have tongues.

They have books? :D
Yes! I can't remember where I got it from, though. I bought it while I was still at University, and in those days I always spent my free time before, in-between and after class in book stores or comic book stores (I was devastated when the 3 story Borders shut down, that was my favourite hiding place from the business of the city). So they are out there, I just don't know where. :(

So being curious, I half-heartedly tried to look for the book. I couldn't find it, BUT I HAPPENED TO STUMBLE UPON MY SUPER NINTENDO. Well, my weekend has been planned out.

AS IN FINAL FANTASY!? Didn't finish part 8, but I regret that now. I cried like a baby through most of FFX, tried FFX-2 but it was too girl-power-ish for me, BUT I REALLY WANTED TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS. SOMEONE JUST PLEASE TELL ME. Hahaha.

Heh I am a big Final Fantasy nerd. Liked 10 a alot but never played 10-2, like you said, seemed a little too girl powerish for me lol. I liked 7 a lot, it was the first one I played so maybe that's why, but I also liked 6 when I played it. Hard to pick between those two. FF8 was pretty amazing too, well worth finishing, maybe one of the most under-rated games of all time and in terms of romance plotline probably the best in all video-gaming.

yea

I have 10 and 12, but I played 12 first, so I didn't really like nr 10 (hides from flying objects). I just don't like being trapped in the fight, I need to be able to run about :p

Oh yeah? I loved 10 more for the story line. I didn't mind the more interaction that was provided in the battle mode of FF13 (I forgot I started that one, too. Only got a couple of hours play in. Why on earth do I have a full time job?). I haven't played 12 though.

I've never played any of the Final Fantasy games but Chocobos look awfully familiar, like the Horseclaws in Hayao Miyazaki's "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind".

Okay. So Tintin, we've got to list all the Studio Ghibli movies each of us has seen and then post them at the same time. Starting... NOW!

But seriously, I'm so glad that Hayao Miyazaki's son has his father's touch when it comes to creating wonderful anime movies. I think Hayao Miyazaki's quite old now or something, and he may not produce many more movies. *Tear*

So I'm going to copy and paste your list.... and then back space the ones I haven't seen (I thought I had this, you beat me this time and this time alone, Sir Tintin!)

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
Laputa: Castle in the Sky
Grave of the Fireflies
My Neighbour Totoro
Kiki's Delivery Service
Porco Rosso
Pom Poko
Princess Mononoke
My Neighbours the Yamadas
Spirited Away
Howl's Moving Castle
Tales from Earthsea
Ponyo
Arietty

Grave of Fireflies was very sad, I couldn't stop crying when I saw that one.

But I can't believe you visited the museum! Gah! That is completely awesome!

I know! It was inevitable, I guess! Hey, hey Christian... do you have a pebble collection!? I do. I even painted them some faces, named each one and I talk to them every day and...

Kidding, hahah, I couldn't help it.

:p

I guess I'll have to play nr 10 when I get back to my PS. I have rounded nr 12 (last fight was way too simple).

yum, chocolate muffins at work! :D

You better believe it was awesome! Pouring over all of the concept art, seeing the pure imagination and child-like nature of the entire place etc - it was fantastic and quite affordable ($12AUD when I went in 2006).

Grave of the Fireflies was very sad, it also brought me to tears. Dang.

Which is your favourite?
I have a few. Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, while very different and less complex than the brilliant manga, is a favourite of mine and the second Studio Ghibli movie I ever saw (the first was Spirited Away - another great movie). Princess Mononoke is fantastic but darker than his other fare. My Neighbour Totoro is wondrous and amazing and Whisper of the Heart gets me right in the heart. *cough* Oh bother, I'd be listing nearly all of them if I kept going.
