I hate Victoria's Secret commercials. They are very clearly not for women looking to buy the bra itself.

I recently read an article where they were talking about how sexualized commercials were esteemed among women when they thought the product was of a high price or value.

So, when I go to sell my car, I should pose on the hood?

Yes... Absolutely!
Especially if the buyer is looking for a car with creased hood! ;) haha

Right now, the only commercials I can think of are non-CC friendly perfume commercials...blech. Super dumb. As if putting on an overpowering perfume makes men flock towards you and suddenly makes you the hottest woman they've laid eyes on.

Or guys' cologne commercials. Because every dude that puts on cologne has 6 or 8-pack abs and chocolate brown eyes or piercing blue.
hahaha I HATE perfume commercials. Aside from the reasons you listed, I hate them because they just flat out don't make sense. It's usually just a swirling montage of music, crazy colors, half-naked men and women, and awkward sultry whispers. They NEVER motivate me to purchase the product.. they just make me dizzy and make me want to turn off the tv.

This actually brings me to an interesting dilemma.

Single women, "Do Up" their face and hair, making them less attractive.

Women in relationships, try way less hard and usually look more appealing.

Then I wind up ignoring and judging the women who are trying to get my attention and flirting with the ones who aren't.

then I'm like, "No wonder they are taken. They didn't overdo it."

But I wonder... when they were single were they overdoing it?

Really? Even when it is sexualized women promoting such a simple thing as a cheeseburger? (I'm lookin' at you, Hardees.)

Yeah, I know what you mean.

It's funny they think they're letting themselves go, but they are actually making things better. And women wear makeup to make themselves look younger, but most of it in fact ages skin.

And if you've ever used the cell phone of a woman who wears too much blush... well the things are vile. They are just coated with the stuff.

I hear they are now trying to sell makeup to men, and some are doing it. So, whatever floats your boat, or sinks it I guess..

I need to get off my duff and experiment with what could be... awesome.

I'm going to make my own Essential Oil based cologne. I finally got my hands on the alcohol to do it.

Actually it does smell good. It smells like FOOD lol.

But, I don't know that I'd go putting cooking oil on my skin - except my hands, it works wonders on the hands. And essential oils need a carrier, if you put them on straight up it can also burn like fire. Don't ask me how I know this!

Three words - Undiluted Thieves Oil....I thought it was going to take the Fire Department to take the burn outta my face...

Extra Virgin Olive Oil can be used as a skin cleanser and moisturizer. I use at night before I go to bed on my face during the winter. I used to freak out at the idea of putting oil on my skin, it seemed a bit counterproductive, but in the morning my face doesn't have any oiliness to it and my skin is soft. :)

EVOO does smell a bit funky though. ;)

That's what you get for using a cheater blend of essential oils!

But yeah...

A shot of rosemary to the face. It would be like napalm.

I tried bergamot in high concentration while developing the recipie for my deodorant. The burn would not wash off lol. Also at the same time, there was some cypress. It... yeah it was uncomfortable.

Now I know and just let the shea overpower the rest of the scent with that hint of citrus from the bergamot. And shea butter makes me hungry, so I kind of want to eat the stuff, but I will not (I could though).

Some oils I can't stand the smell of. Like, Oregano and Rosemary, I'm not a fan. Cinnamon, though, I enjoy the smell of it.

Also...keep peppermint away from your eyes. Whoo, it's like a burning and cold sensation all at the same time! Though, it really helps with headaches, sooo....
