Well, yes the threads can yield many friendly conversations. I have noticed, as of late, that many people thought have been coming into Christian Chat looking for friends.

I thought about this before posting and thought it would be worth posting this to see if this helped anyone find those friends in a more direct route. With everything that has been and is going on in the world, be nice to see some people find those good Godly friends they are looking for.
And, for those of you that thought this would be a thread having to do with Phoebe and the rest of the clan, sorry to disappoint. But , on the bright side, you might just find a good solid friend! Hope this helps y'all!

Let the friendships commence😀!
It’s funny, that was why I first joined and honestly why I’ve returned. I miss genuine and inential friendships I have made in the past theough Christian chat as well as other online platforms. It’s sad in a way that people, like myself, can’t find friendships in person like we do on here. But I am glad there is a space to do so here. I’ve already enjoyed speaking to people and been so greatly encouraged by godly advice and conversation.

Very well said. And glad you've returned. May everybody find that encouragement and fellowship and friendship here and, likewise encourage others and , of course have some good, clean fun among the way as well😀!

That's probably because most of us are introverts at heart and so we can find like minded people at home on their computers like we are and start forum threads to draw them into deeper conversations. You tend to get much better reactions from starting threads than from standing up in a crowded room and shouting a thread title out to see if anyone want to talk about that particular topic (not that any self respecting introvert would draw so much attention to themselves deliberately). And there's also the distance factor, I've made some good friends through this site; so far only one of them have I actually been able to meet in real life because distance and schedules and stuff.

Lol well I am anything but an introvert and I have the same dilemma 😄. Hard to find like minded people and ones that aren't completely doing there own thing over yonder.

Hey, glad C.C. is working out good for you, hopefully you'll stick around for a while.

I here ya on the busy, been pretty busy myself.

And no, I wish he was mine. Cute little guy isn't he? Just a Star Wars fan at heart, so when I saw this picture of him, just couldn't help to use it as my avatar!

Don't worry, I don't take a person's chocolate (which do you prefer? Milk or Dark or both?)

I'm somewhat introverted too. Being able to chat on a forum is really nice and it's how I've met other writers, (though now I'm tempted to try standing up in a crowded room and shouting a thread title.... okay, just kidding!)

Oh, a great many O things, I'll give you some of the highlights😄:

Outdoor activities (swimming, hiking, camping, biking, etc.), learning and research things that interest me, DYI projects, photography, watching movies etc.

What about you🤔?

What do you look for in a friend and what do you work to be in a friend?

I like hiking too! Sometimes my sister and I will explore a side trail; we did that recently and found a really cool creek. I also like reading about little known facts about animals and historical figures (like Hawaii's last princess.)
I also enjoy decoupaging and other types of crafts when I'm not writing.

What are some of your favorite movies? What kind of DIY projects do you do and what's the most interesting thing you've researched?

You mentioned you like biking
do you mean motorbiking or bicycling...? Just wondering.

what kind of bike do you have? How often do you ride...and where do you go?

I know a few bike mad people lol. They always on their bikes. Are you one of those..if so, are you a lycra wearer or do you wear ordinary clothes...?

Well🤔, I go through spurts. I'll be on it a lot for a year or two, then off of it for the same (wash, rinse, repeat😄).
I have a mountain bike. I use it both on road and off. I'm not one of those screaming down a twisting dirt road , high fiving bears that they are missing at warp 10 (seems to me that the tree branches look better on the trees then lodged in my spline...where is the spline located anyway... note to self, find out where spline is so I don't accidentally put any tree branches through it😄).
I have been known to go up and down hill, just not where everything is just a blur 😁.

Normal clothes. Personally I don't need to see every crack and crevice on others, nor do I need to do that to others as well. Like with yoga pants....come on, it's right there in the name, Yoga, lol.

How about you, do you do any riding (of any kind: bike, motor bike, horse, goat, tea cup chiwawai )?

i have a bicycle but it doesnt go up mountains or even many hills

I would like it to but to attach a battery to it would cost lots of $$ so if its too steep I would hop off it and walk it up. So I find it easier to walk up hills and dont ride it that much...!

It has a handy basket though. And I wear normal clothes when riding and just have to make sure nothing catches. I do wear a helmet.

I used to have a bike when I lived in the city (no basket though ) But your bike sounds cute! What color is it?
