Hi there,

Not really a forum person (but I'm sure you get that all the time)

Recently I've been having trouble getting over someone I cared about deeply for well over 3 years. Ever since 2007 really. They goto church regularly twice a week, even now, and she's now with someone else who she's been dating for 2 months now.

She cheated on me, and she still hasn't officially broken up with me (Although, clearly does that even matter?).

I miss her though.
And I worry about her.

That really sucks!! I'm really sorry!! There is no easy way to get over someone you really cared for especially when they hurt you! When my boyfriend and I broke up I was really hurt at first but then I got angry...which helped in a way. God has a plan for you and I pray that you would have peace. He will make your burdens light.

Thanks, I am praying everyday. It's just... I worry about her, living a lie I guess.

There's nothing wrong with two people breaking up and moving on.

Just cheating on someone, it leaves a really nasty aftermath. And she's using her faith to make it all right
1 John 7: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

She says she doesn't need my forgiveness, only Gods..and it hurts, when someone uses that against you.

I get that you still worry. Sounds like she needs to believe it herself. One cannot do something like that to someone else and not feel that you need to make ammends or that it is ok behaviour. She probably doesn't know how to deal with it and is using this as a defence mechanism because if she looked at herself properly she would feel too ashamed (sounds like a lame explanation but hey).
It up to God to work in her heart and all we can do is pray for her.
