So, here we are Saturday night, on the brink of Sunday. If you are saying things like, 'God, I'm not making it financially,' or, 'God, I'm so alone, all by myself,' or, 'I am ready for marriage,' THEN, you thinking of those type situations present now in your life then I challenge you to make things right with God more. Maybe the reason you have no bf or gf or just not getting anywhere dating is.... God is trying to tell you something.

Stop! Pray. Listen :)

Maybe He is speaking to you right now thru me... pray right now that God will make Sunday a great day for you.
Then, sleep, get up tomorrow and, first thing, do something like sing a song in your bed, or, read a devotional or just quote a verse like John 3:16. :)
Then, encourage people at church or on christian chat or if , like me, going to my one of my good friend's house because his wife's birthday. I am not like preaching fire and brimstone there, but I do use my phrase 'The Lord leads' unabashedly , they are not churchgoers ever, although my friend of 37 years did attend Lutheran church when age 5 , to 7, before his parents quit going.

Anyway, what I am saying is do things right for God , and, they don't have to be big things, little is fine, just do them, and, KNOW that He will (His timing, please keep in mind) do things right for you.

Doing things for each other, isn't' that how relationships work? Well then, guess what, THAT is what God wants from you, a personal relationship, and, in fact, God desires 'it.'

So, start tomorrow, yikes, after midnight for you, get to sleep, YOU got a big day ahead of you. :)

May God bless you for doing what He wants done so YOU can get it right. :)

Man GreenNice, I think that perhaps the intent is good, but the first thing that pops in my mind is let Him who thinks He knows it all take heed lest He fall.. And a Rightous man, though He fall seven times the Lord upholdeth Him with his hands.. And some where rejoice in trials and tribulations comes in..
Where would we be without the trials and tribulations that life throws at us? How on earth would we know the Lord without them.. Doesn't mean a person isn't in the will of God.. Just means we are human and right now we see in part and know in part and we just are not made perfect yet..
If we didn't experience trials and tribulation we would be sort of like robots who really don't know the goodness of God.. Or the HESED of God..

Anywho,

The Lord leads your personal life right, and, , Yeah, God knows everything, I sure don't. I am the messenger.

Don't kill the messenger. :D

---
And, I agree, we need trials and tribulations. if you are not getting 'them,' then check your life with God.

Now, this is speaking we are believers in God, because the Enemy (Satan) doesn't need to attack Christian believers if they are off-track (bscksliding) from God's will in their life.

And, that is the reason, ultimately, to work on your PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with God if you're life seems unattended with grace and good things .

I hope I just explained myself better :)

By the way, call me Green, Greeny, or, anything you want, but please don't ever call me late for dinner.

Amen Green.. I'm with you ...
I just took it a little personal due to past experiences within the church.
So many people in the church seem to think that they know a persons heart based upon the outer appearance of the persons life that they are critiquing.. They forget that only He can see the heart..
Makes me think about Job..Or the disciples who labored yet were often in perils and adversity.. Hunger, famine and so and so..

Thank you Green for the post..

A phrase I tell people wondering about the hearts of men (and women) is this and this phrase let's people, or, a person, like yourself , Billy, know that man is different from God. We are with sin on our heart, even the very best believers, like your pastor in your church or your wife whom is your love of life.

Everyone, your mom, dad, loving wife, best-trusted babe (girlfriend) will let you down, Billy. Your CHURCH will let you down. Everyone......

The only person who will NEVER let you down is God. Our God in three persons, ultimately, will never let us down . Now, when I say this, do I mean that God will never disappoint us. Yes!

We will have things we go through but God will ALWAYS be with us, through family member's death, wife/girlfriend/boyfriend leaving , fall-out of relationship with your best friends, ANYTHING.

And, yes, man looks at our outward appearance,as 1 Sammuel 16:7 says, but God looks at the heart (what's inside and cannot be seen by mere men).

God bless, you BigB :)
