I don't think there's anything wrong in wanting partnership.

Do we have soulmates? Sure we do. People don't realize that just as we have certain expectations of our soulmates, they have expectations of us too. We need to work with our lives and grow and heal by learning lessons. I believe that God shows us all those lessons that need learning and that He'll bring us together when the time is right.

Here's something I did and you guys can do too: I got a piece of paper and thought about all those qualities I want in a guy and wrote it down. You can stick it in your Bible or wallet/purse. Compare every guy or girl to that checklist you made. Does he/she match? Nope? You know they aren't the one. Slow and easy wins the race and get to know people. In my experience for partnership, I did come across as rather 'desperate' in the past and hey- wrong signals indeed. You need to love yourself and love God too.
