Would loved to have seen Jesus walking on water and then Peter doing the same going to Jesus. I had a dream walking on water and it was totally awesome and I was asking God Why are you letting me walk on water?

Daniel in the lions den and Hebrew men in the fiery furnace, John trying to be boiled in oil. Just to see the power of God in the deliverance of these faithful followers.

Jesus Second coming... Yep I'd like to be alive to see that. Lo this is our God we have waited for Him and He will save us!!!

Well if the event is a kiss, the forehead could be considered the event horizon. But the temple is not on the forehead, it's on the side of the head.

Shut up Lynx.

Since nobody mentioned it specifically, I'll say that it would've been really cool to be there when it was read aloud to the new Gentile believers that no extra rules were to be put on them other than that they abstain from a few gross food things and fornication 31Which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.

I bet they were SUPER happy that they didn't need to keep a bunch of crazy-sounding rules :).

I'm going to step out on a limb here by saying: None of them.

  • There are more incidents I would prefer to not witness than there are that might pique my interest.
  • I, personally, feel very fortunate to not have lived in the times depicted in Scripture.
  • Even those that witnessed supernatural happenings and miracles were dubious, to say the least. Considering Jesus' words, "Because you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed," I feel blessed.

That´s constantly heard on the Churches, on their sermons and preaching and, the more I have heard talking about Paul I felt some sort of zeal (not dying for it, by the way).

One thing I know, if I cannot follow up ten "simple" commandments I can do the same with the burden of 613 more.

Luk 16:10 "One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.

Because you are pure, as his child.

I would like to have seen...

1) Saul and the Witch of Endor.

2) Christ go into hell and get the keys.

3) The donkey talking to Saul/Paul.

4) Jacob wrestling with the angel.

5) Moses having his arms held up.

6) The Crucifixion.

7) The fall of Lucifer

8) The Fall of Man

9) When Jesus drew the line in the sand, and then began writing the sins of others until they dropped their stones. I know how she felt when her Savior challenged the "holy" accusers. That relief and safety is unmatched.

10) David sneaking up on Saul and ripping off a piece of linen.

The donkey talked to Balaam, not Saul/Paul.

Nobody knows what Jesus wrote. Some think it may have been the sins of those in the congregation who were ready to throw stones.

Okay, so I stand corrected about the donkey. But that's what I meant about the writing in the sand. I just didn't put it well.

Ok now for my 3. Tough choices.

1) Maybe it's masochistic of me, but I'd want to see the garden of Eden. Seeing how awesome it was before humanity lost it (and I'd want to see something pre- flood just to see how different the world was then)

2) I'd like to be there to hear God speak the ten commandments from the mountain to the people. Just to hear God's audible voice (and yes I expect to be terrified enough that I'd ask to be allowed to pack a change of undies before going to witness it)
Cinder stole my first two points. So I have quoted her reply.

My third is - I would like to accompany John in all his visions. It would have been awesome to co-witness whatever God showed him. Also, I could have answered all the questions about the Book of Revelation in the BD forum.

4. I'd like to be the fifth man in the fire. Most focus on the fact the guys weren't burnt, but I'd like to hear what they were talking about with the fourth man. Who it was we don't know, but the king said it looked like the son of God. (How did he know what the son of God looked like anyway...)

5. I'm still curious whether the king woke Daniel up when he hollered down into the lion pit. Seems to me a tame lion would make a good pillow.

I'd have to say the garden of eden before the fall. What it was like to walk with God, also I really want to understand what our intended progression was meant to be.

When Moses was with God. Seriously, how amazing is that.

Seeing the word made flesh knowing what i know now.

Oh also...

Seeing God mess with the balancing act that is gravity in the universe without blowing it up when he helps Joshua win his battle.

(God is so cool)
