I'm also motivated to do a little bit of holiday decorating...no tree, since it's just me at my apartment, but I found a tutorial online for a homemade wreath, and I'm thinking of putting together a little vignette on my coffee table. Will snap some phone pics this week as well.

MsCris, what a lovely tree.
Shouryu, the Charlie Brown tree is endearing.

Yes but as one who's house is full of CB Christmas stuff (a purist), the red ball is supposed to be on the uppermost stem, bending it over in half.

(Wow a whole forum full of posts and this is the one I get picky on!)

I...I guess I need to be more on top of things in the Christmas decor. Will post decorations within the week!

that guy should be your next avatar :)
I'm sensing a gradual reduction in freakiness of my avatars you're suggesting. Is this part of some master plan of yours? Or just a general distraction from more eyeballs?

It's an opportunity to be dichotomous! :D

Ugly,

I found some snowman eyes for you if you want to stick with your motif and still stay with the holiday theme:

or if you want to go total macabre, here is a dead snowman:

When did i become dichotomous? I'm scary and intimidating. Unless you mean 'scary' as one side and 'intimidating' as the other.

Or i like these snowman eyes better than those. Yours lacked the same 'oomf' of regular eyes...

The lighting is kind of weird, but here we go...

I kind of threw everything together tonight, but we'll see what it looks like in the daytime.

Daytime...sunlight is better, I think

We had a boat parade locally where people decked out their boats with lights and decorations...I snapped some of the ones I liked best:

I didn't get around to doing a wreath yet but two of my sisters are crashing this weekend for the Nutcracker, and I'm excited for them to see that things are a little bit festive at my place.

Great movie :) Hommer used to use a leg lamp as his Christmas avatar. :)

You painted your piano with Pepto Bismol??? That. Is. Awesome!!!
I'm more jazzed that she's currently working on Bach Inventions. They're probably among his most underrated works. Fun stuff.

When it comes to both Two Part and Three Part Inventions, few can hold a musical candle to Archangelo Spumoni, however.

Instead of bringing a tree into my house,

this year I've decided to just move into the forest.

: )
