I would have to specify a certain Batman before I could give an opinion on him. There are different versions. For the record I think the latest Batman movies suck rotten eggs. They go for gritty, dark story and turn Batman into basically a psycho who finds beneficial ways of expressing his psychoses. Kinda like Dexter - remember that show?

The original live action show Batman was of course cheesy, as were all of those shows at the time. The first Batman movie had a decent Batman. The Batman in the Justice League cartoon my brother was always watching was a bit too brooding and moody for my taste.

I think the best portrayal of Batman as he should be was in Batman: The Animated Series. He was more than a rich guy with gadgets fighting bad guys. He was doing a job that needed to be done. He saw being Batman as a responsibility, a service he was doing for the city he loved. Sure he used fear as a weapon, but it was always a means to an end, never an end to itself.

In every iteration of Hawkeye I have ever seen, he is just a guy shooting trick arrows. Can't even begin to compare to any Batman except maybe the very first cheesy one.
I appreciate both silly Batman and gritty Batman. My understanding is that gritty Batman is much closer to the original comic books. While I technically prefer gritty Batman, I have a desperately hard time stomaching the billionaire-orphaned-by-criminals-ergo-via-vengeance-find-the-motivation-to-become-super-crime-fighting-machine plot line, whether it be in Batman or some other story.

I personally loathe Superman. For various reasons.

For some reason, though, I feel like Batman deserves a free pass on the superhero thing.

Few weeks back I got so sick of it I almost bought a rabbit. If a man ain't coming I'm gonna pick up a rabbit.
But then I realized I'd have to clean the cage and even that was too much effort.

No...I've been this attractive for as long as I can remember...

I remember being in my aunts wedding at 4 or 5, and those flirty bridesmaids telling me how cute I looked. Even the men were jealous. The told me I looked sharp with a bright flame of jealousy in their eyes
Aww awww aww lol ^_^ thats funny

When I was a child I heard the dear sweet country comedian Minnie Pearl talk about her boyfriend.....
She said
" Now folks my boyfriend told me I was his breath of spring,.....well wait I'm lyin to y'all now, he really said I was the end of a hard winter" lol

I dunno... Talking about love and romance and all that, and you mentioned Minnie Pearl, it reminds me of something else she said. Minnie Pearl said her Uncle Nabob claimed being married was like being in a hot bath. "After awhile... it ain't so hot."
