Being divorced since 1979 I'd say I've done a lot of waiting and over the years I had two nice relationships that failed - my marriage being one of them. But during the waiting I discovered that I turned men into idols and would shove God to the side and that is not good at all and who knows if it didn't have something to do with the failure of those relationships.
During all these years God has patiently taught me to rely on Him completely and I am still in class learning the lessons God wants me to learn. However, when I decided to put God first even above a man that is when God said O.K. I think she is ready to try this again and I have been drawn to a wonderful Christian man who loves the Lord like I do and it is a wonderful thing this love triangle that has been forming. So keep on waiting it is not too late even at 59 God does know the desires of our hearts and knows what is best for us. Putting Him first is a reward in itself. The best is yet to be for all of us we just have to keep looking up and let the Lord lead. Keep saying your prayers He hears them all and will answer in His perfect timing.
