Cambels soup or top ramen salty? No thanks, can't stand the stuff.:sick: I'd rather have an english muffin w/ garlic butter, a slice of tomato, dry salami and pepper jack jack cheese. Open face straight out of the toaster oven. Or a jalapeno stuffed w/ tuna, sour crean & bacon bitts. Salt is for fried potato crisps, avocado or jerked meat, only.(y)

What are you lot up north complaining about?
People dying because it gets to 40C - really!!

When summer rolls in December to March we swelter in the mid to high 40s.
Everybody (almost) goes down to the beaches and we frolic in the hot sun.
We come alive in summer: pool parties, sunbaking at our sandy beaches, barbeques galore with a large variety
of salads, icecreams and iceblocks, bike riding, bushwalks, patio and outdoor dining …

I just looked up your weather forecast for London - Thursday 33C and Friday 30C
hardly what we would call hot or a scorcher.
Those temps are very warm at best.

Maybe climate change is true!! Or things are just warming up before the return of our Lord Jesus!!

I think the main problem is the humidity. It’s a very warm sticky
kind of heat, not like when you go to somewhere like Spain and
the dry kind of heat.

It’s bad as well for my aunt, and others like her. She has just come
out of hosp due to problems caused by the heat. It’s not that great when
you have heart, breathing problems, kidney problems.

Sorry to hear that.
Yes I guess very hot weather is a shock to the system when one is not inured to hot summers.
Tend to her, and also lay hands on her and pray for her recovery.
