Post #84 it was mentioned as a tendency, not a hard and fast rule or stereotype.
The Mark Gungor video is a source to help understand the wonderful way He has made us in His image, male and female.(y):):coffee:

There is a lot of anti-male bias in America.
Women tend to be able to incorporate emotional considerations and factors into everything, while men hunker down into pure cold reason.
We see that here when people misinterpret each other's posts.
Fixed it for ya

Fake news! I can be just as emotional as anybody. :p
I doubt it. And since people do some pretty horrible stuff (abuse, killing, self harm, etc) under the influence of negative emotions, I think we should not test this theory or try to prove you correct on that. Cats must be aloof, not crazy emotional. Now go curl up on your perch and take a nap.

This one might be specific to the South:

One aspect of being a man is, you're always pegged to ask the blessing before a family dinner. Women NEVER have to step up. It's always the man expected to thank God for the meal for the whole family.

And here I thought it was because the man is suppose to be the HEAD and LEAD the family.......
(not to mention it is after all a kind gesture of showing her thanks after the woman has spent all morning/evening preparing the meals)

If the beauty contests had a 'swimsuit in barefeet' show
and they also had a 't shirt and trackpants' category, I think more women would be amenable to them.

Otherwise, not sure the purpose of them. I supoose its like watching army soldiers march around in uniform. Just a parade to look at.

i think it only works if the man actually provided the ingredients for the meal...if he didnt catch any fish, aint no fish for supper

no bacon...no bacon and egg pie.

The Bible says if a man doesnt provide for his household he is worse than an infidel.

sadly many men dont so the women whove been deserted or widowed just sort of have to make do without him.

I think its doubly hard for women to survive without a man but since wars etc more women have learned to cope without men, not saying its easy though

while men without women arent that concerned I think. if youve got money, you can just eat at a restuarant every day.

We're having a family dinner and aunt Diane just said something that makes me glad I'm a man. She was complaining about her no-show sock keeps slipping off her foot.

As a guy I just smile and nod, and be grateful I'm a guy and don't mess around with all that stuff.

Yes, you are correct. The man has the responsibility to head the family and Christ is the head of His church and gave His life for it.
bless you

I know. I don't have any reason to get them. :p

They make pantyhose for men too. No thanks.
Pantyhose for men? Not surprised given today's climate. However, no show socks for men have been around for a long time. I see a lot of athletic men wearing no show socks with Nike slides in the summer time, but I understand. It's a preference thing.

no show socks?

dont you just mean socklets or anklesocks

I've never worked in fashion store but Ive been shopping enough to know theres clothes for everyone, but if you want it to fit desperately its best if you can actually make it yourself.

Right now the trend is to have your name stenciled on the back of your clothes so that everyone knows they belong to you.

I believe the American president has his name written on his palm since he has recently begun thinking his name is Brandon.
