I remember a section in one of her books where she talked about going through military training as a teenager.
I always thought she was rather pretty.

I used to look for something unique in a woman. These days, it seems that so many women are just going along with the trends of the current time, and I want to look at something other than yoga pants and boots. It's not just how a woman dresses tough but it helps me make my point. I want to get to know someone who knows herself and does her own thing and isn't just another drone of the trends.

I really liked women who were, how do I say it? Witty? Like they were quick on the draw and they could have a witty comeback during a conversation and it made talking to them fun. I also liked women who had some interesting hobby that was something different than partying, shopping, hanging out with friends.

Most of all though, I liked a woman who liked me for me. I'm not a guy's guy though, so I'm not really the type of guy women are looking for I suppose. I'm not tall, dark and handsome. I don't wear skinny jeans. I'm just kind of an average bearded dweeb.

This reminds me of a story I shared in PM with a friend a few days ago. I'd like to share it, just copying it out of the PM so pardon if the style seems wonky:

Let me tell you a short story, idk why really but it just comes to mind. When I was in highschool in psychology class the teacher had us write down on a piece of paper what we want in a significant other. Then he had us all say what we wrote after we handed it in. Lol every guy wrote "Sex" and laughed admitting it. I lied and said "Sex" too because I was embarrassed, but I really wrote "love". Lol the teacher knew it too he had a funny look on his face as I lied and my face turned red lol. Lol he later told me I was the only guy that wrote "love" and that it astounded him that I lied. I told him simply I was embarrassed which is why I lied, and he told me not to be. That really helped me to assert myself more in the future instead of be embarrassed about my heart.

To add here for this topic. While it is a pretty true generalization and it seems to me true that every intact male does want to have sex, but there are some guys, extremely rare as they might be that actually see love as the priority, they're just shy. A good man most of all wants a woman that he can open up to and that will love him.

I can't speak for all men, I can't even speak for all "Christian" men, but I can speak for myself, and assure you, that is not all that I want.

lol nice sarcasm *rolls eyes* I was being a nice old christian young lady and I didn't wanna say sex to not offend anyone but guess being nice and respectful is old fashioned ..

i know not every man is like that but most guys now a days ya know and im glad youre a gentleman youll find yourself a good gal

I was just being silly. The word 'sex' won't offend anyone here. Apparently, it's one of the most searched words on CC. I didn't know that people even used the Search function.
