Interesting turn of events. I learned last night that "women like me" are of no more value to most men than a Barbie doll (hence my new avatar). I wonder what "league" that fits into... How does one embrace that?? Grrrrrrrrrrrr....must...shoot...something...

P.S. - Matthew, I luv you. Just sayin... :D

It is amazing, makes me wonder what is wrong with some guys, here all us guys are wishing we could meet an amazing woman and when some guys do they come back with comments like that........world gone mad.

As for the league........probably the one used by the world's most shallow and immature men.
that said I encourage you to resist the urge to shoot them. :D
I prefer the avatar that was a picture of you though, I doubt Barbie has as many interesting things to say.

P.S. - Matthew, I luv you. Just sayin... :D
Thankyou so much  Very much appreciated :) The feeling is returned I assure you. ;)

Maybe when I cool off I'll know that...

Right now I'm learning that if you take care of yourself and are interested in more than being a mommy/chief cook/bottlewasher (all of which I've done) it is apparently to being "marriage material" what contracting a deadly disease is to becoming uninsurable. Guys seem to want to check out their baiting skill sets, but aren't too sure apparently that they have what it takes to hang long term. So, ladies, when you read all of the stuff in these forums about hair, makeup, working out, how you present yourself, being educated, professional, worldly-wise, blah, blah, blah, don't be surprised if if some guys treat you like a trophy or talking Slinky.

And thanks, Liamson, my inner warrior sooooooooo wants to go Zena on someone today. ;) I'm gonna get a t-shirt: I'm not your Slinky and I'm a VERY well armed. :)

And now I'm going to go practice the speech patterns of the Legally Blonde sorority (maybe they allow redheads too), exchange all of my clothing for pink sequined things, and study the arts of eyelash batting, hair tossing and the "bend and stretch". I'm still not getting a chihuahua though. A girl must have SOME pride.

Women LIKE YOU? You are about the coolest woman I've ever (not actually) met. You like Top Gun and airshows and 2 and a Half Men, you know how to feed a man (what you would cook for your date thread), you've got a cool and awesome job, you enjoy shooting at things and keeping yourself well organized, you're smart and always seem to have interesting things to say, and you're super nice! What more can I say. If that makes u a barbie doll, then barbie is one awesome babe! :p

A Slinky? I'm missing the connection. The only thing I've got to offer on the Slinky subject is this clip.

YouTube - ‪We had part of a Slinky...‬‏

Ladies? For guys like me (and I admit I'm odd), the only thing from the above list "hair, makeup, working out, how you present yourself, being educated, professional, worldly-wise" that I care about is how you present yourself. Even that isn't that important, however.

I've got to admit that I own both Legally Blonde movies. To be pedantic, it was the 'Bend and Snap', not 'stretch'...though to be honest, it will probably have the same result when a guy's watching. Watch out for the UPS guy...don't let your snap get all over the place.

God bless you all...really. Huge hugs

Nuke, You're absolutely right, Sir. I stand corrected. :) The fact that Nuke knows more about this maneuver than I do alone cheered me up. Envisioning him actually doing that...even funnier. :D

You know, when I was typing that, I actually thought of 'bend........and snap' not 'bend and snap'. No, I didn't actually do the motion, but I did consider it...

I don't understand the whole thing about leagues. I know that as a christian according to 2 Cor. 6:14 we should not be unequally yoked. I just think that if people looked for Jesus inside the person they wanted to date that should be enough. That what I will always be looking for. In 1 Sam The Lord said to Samuel" For the Loard does not see as man sees' for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart". I would say if as christian we are trying to be Christ like we sould see as Christ sees and look at someones heart. God Bless.

Well, the most well known 'out-of-your-league' story when I was growing up was this one...

The question on everyone's lips was..."What does she see in him?"
