Well, I will just let those questions be the voice to get your minds all a-hummin' :) And, remember, these are fun, light things to say so others can play off your doings and, who knows... maybe THIS can be the thread that changes you from bachelor/bachelorette to a marriage degree. The Lord leads.

I like this question, because as I have gotten a bit older, I have come to realize, that I like morning time. I like to sleep in, and not be awakened by an alarm clock if at all possible.

I like to eat breakfast and take my time in eating and enjoy and appreciate and be thankful that I am able to eat and that my stomach gets fed and does not go growling all day.

Sometimes, I enjoy going for 30 minute to 1 hour walks, but I enjoy this more when I am everywhere else, because this neighborhood is low-spirited, and many of the community members are rude and the kids say rude things, and it doesn't matter who you are.

I don't like taking showers in the morning. Too much for the early time.

I like that just waking up, sleepy feeling. And I like to be alone. But of course, I've never shared my bed with anyone, so, I would not know what it is like to wake up next to someone, a man of course, since I am woman, and be happy about it, and get energy for the day. It seems to me if that were the case. I'd probably be depressed every day realizing who and what I live with and sleep with, if they were not the one God had planned for me. And God's plans are not for evil. So, why would I be given a man or husband who makes me sick, and ill, and depressed, and we cannot change to live life together.

Make sense.

Anyway,

Who knows why you asked this question and if I will even get anything for me in return out of it. But have a good time reading and figuring it out.

I like nature, because it is no human bothersome behavior and wars and fighting, and arguments, and jealousies, and control. Yeah, nature!!!!

What do you like to do in the mornings?
Because of work, most of my mornings consist of tumbling out of bed bleary-eyed, stumbling into the bathroom, putting my hair up/washing my face/brushing my teeth/doing my makeup in a blur of motion, dressing in something clean and unwrinkled, then running out the door before I'm late.

I'm not a "morning-type." I can wake early when I need to, but left to my own devices, I wake up between 8 and 9 AM, lie in bed enjoying that relaxed I-just-woke-up feeling for at least a few minutes, and lazily start my day with reading or hot tea. By about 9:30 or 10, I'm really ready to start the day.

Who do.you like to see when you're feeling blue? What do you do?
I have a few close friends, and I'll give one of them a call if I know I need support. One of them is a young woman not too much older than me who's right around where I am in my spiritual walk. Another is an older couple, a pastor and his wife, who have been amazingly supportive of and loving toward me. Then, I have a friend, a middle-aged woman who follows Christ, that I hang out with a bunch. And, recently, my mom has been one of my supports, though she isn't really equipped to be there for me like I might want sometimes.

And, of course, reaching out for support is only part of what I do. I reach out to God first (as much as I can remember; sometimes, sadness can cloud thinking). I sing to Him, read Psalms or Ephesians or Romans (really, anything NT or Psalms). And sometimes, if I'm really sad, I just tell Him how miserable I am and how much it all hurts, and have a good cry. Somehow, that helps a lot. It helps to know that He cares that I'm sad.

When is your favorite show(s) on? Why's it your fave?
Actually, I don't own a TV... Lol, I'm online a lot, though. My favorite TV shows have been kind of scattered across genres. I like House, Law & Order, How I Met Your Mother (most of the time... I love to laugh). I despise reality TV across the board. That goes for talk shows, too, and courtroom shows.

Bugs, bugs, bugs. Hey, when I was a kid, I took a spider from one web and put it in another spider's web....and mostly one spider did a 'geronimo', dropping out of the qeb, or, just scurrying off.

() Hey, how about your pet iguana? Or, do you take care of a horse? Wow! Someone will love that about you.

() Are you like Garfield? (You hate Mondays)?

() Spiritually, what's your day look like, able to give time to God at your office job?

() What about telling everyone about how much you love ferret?

() Maybe you saw G-Force movie and now you have a house full of Guinea pigs?

() Maybe people called you some strange/cool name growing up.

---Tell a little something about yourself, maybe , the Lord leads, what you wake up doing in the morning doing (after a year or two of getting to know person better and better with NO sexual interaction before marriage is my, not to mention, God's best way to do things) will be MUCH different. ;)
--------
Good tif, no promises, I pray good God guys on here see what you say about having good Godly support in times of your needs, and they see you a little more uniquely and comment a PM or just see you in chatroom on c.c. and remember what you said here , . You work a job, great.

Funny, Nods. You prob got rollers in your hair and that green mask, and bathrobe look.

Redmama? Wonderful stuff. Some guys LOVE to do morning walks.

Animals, animals, cars, cars, cars, stuff that civic you, people (like your kids) that joy you and why they mean sooo much, what? what? what?

Who, who, who, YES! , Fraser, that guy dead-panned humor incredibly on Cheers.

---Now, keep in mind, this thread is about 'something' that everyone should know about you, not 'some things.' I like what others said so far, but FLESH OUT on the one thing. This is not a popularity contest either, or, what I do is better than what you do.
It is about FINDING that special someone.
**ok, here is my example, and, I know you may want to mention 'some things' in this thread, but try to just flesh out one thing in a few long (and short) sentences :)
**
Ok, for me, that 'something,' besides , obviously God #1 in my life, is my dog, Piddy. She's a fun-loving beautiful brown speckled and white furred 60 pound American pit bull terrier and German shorthair mix. 5 years old and TRULY the LOVE of my life now. I go crazy when she occasionally wanders off, I really have to keep my eyes on her. She and I play, a lot, and, yes, I have friends/family I regularly see, but my time, with them or, not is still with Pid. She sits on my lap when I drive my Ranger too. Love, love, love my dog.

I am not a morning person at all but sometimes I excercise in the mornings but have kind of fallen off of that lately :) I have my rountine of getting up taking my dog Bailey out to potty, shower, breakfast and then getting ready for work.

When I am feeling blue I either talk to someone about it or just relax at home for a bit but it depends on what I am feeling blue about. If I am stressed it is best to leave me alone until I have had sometime to breathe so to speak. When I am feeling blue I like to hang with a few of my friends and laugh. That always cures what ails me.

American Idol but even it is getting kind of old and I don't watch too much tv so I wouldn't really say that is my favorite show. LOL I watch some reality tv but I am normally just flipping through the channels for whatever is good.

What do you like to do in the mornings?

I like to stay away from people until I'm awake for their own personal safety and my walk with Jesus. :) Even though I get up around 5:30 AM, I'm on autopilot until around 10 AM or so, so my answers to any questions are usually monosyllabic or in sign language. This is even worse now that I'm trying to give up my sweet tea and Dr. Pepper (not a coffee person; love the smell though..it's homey). I like listening to the news all morning while I get ready for work, in the car on my way to the office, go through a bazillion emails, sort through the junk on my desk and plan my day. By the time that's done, I'm nearly human. :) 'Guess I'll always be a night owl.

Who doyou like to see when you're feeling blue? What do you do?

I rarely feel blue, but when I do I like to be with family and friends who love me and understand my fondness for listening to what's going on in their lives and not talking much. Music always seems to cure what ails me. I can still alone at my piano for long periods of time - sometimes playing and singing; sometimes just playing old classics from memory. It clears the mind of unimportant things and helps me remember who I am. This is one of my songs (It's homemade, so the quality is not the best):

When is your favorite show(s) on? Why's it your fave?

Not a big TV fan. I would much rather be reading than watching TV, but there are some shows I like:
Hawaii 5-0, NCIS, So You Think You Can Dance (I love dance in any form)
I can handle American Idol once it gets serious and I have a favorite or two in the mix.
I also like the History Channel, HGTV and old movies.
I hate it that 24 is gone now. Jack Bauer carries my heart in his manpurse.
Alltime favorite TV show: MASH I can watch reruns over and over and over.

Well, I've never been a morning person and as a currently unemployed person I get up kind of late, about 9.. I turn the computer on, put myself together, get some breakfast and watch The view.

My best friends are great when I'm feeling blue, they make me laugh.

Favorite show.. House.. I started watching solely because one of my favorite actors was on it.. playing Dr Wilson. Then I disovered Hugh Laurie who I quickly became a fan of, and now I watch because it's an all around great show. I also love The Big Bang Theory, I didn't know that show existed until I was watching a talk show and this really cute guy was on it, Kunal Nayyar. I had to check out the show he's on and like House, became a fan of Sheldon too and the show overall is so great. I also like Greys Anatomy, Castle, Glee..

Is this a "you should date me because" thread? I thought we were all just getting to know one another... I'm not looking for Mr Right; in God's time, we'll find each other.
-- Tiffy, I thought fleshing out one thing that is uniquely you would be way to do it , giving my 'Piddy,' example for me. But, the Lord leads, and , if you want to answer the questions I posed like Homer and julieannie have, then, that's fine too.

I just trying to throw out a thread that allows others to know something that is who you are. Yeah, I know, iI have a dog. But she is my girl now, I was at the local swap meet selling things in a booth, trying to make enough money to put food on the table back in mid-May 2006. So, there I was in Tacoma if I were now to flesh this story out more for y'all and...at the end of the day, as I was packing up.all the stuff that didn't't sell, a guy who was down-and-out looking, and maybe Meth enhanced, came to me and said...
'Hey, man, I got this puppy, she's cool,' And, he then brought a puppy out. 5 weeks old , eyes still closed.

Well, I began praying to dear God. And, then a family of four, with two small kids started looking at the puppy as I still loaded up my non-sold stuff.

I said to myself, 'Puppy's cute, Lord. Cuddly. Never had a dog before, she's adorable, darling, darling, but there she is about to go to that family. The kids little kids are just staring at her.'
Well, the mom and dad consulted and Piddy watched them walk away. oh wait, her eyes were closed. ;)

So, the guy came back to me, 'Her mom's as smart as a whip. See for yourself.'

He whistled and a beautiful full brown pit bull terrier came leaping out the driver's side window.

Anyway, long story shortened, I gave this guy $35 and a movie camera and came home that day with a puppy in the palm of my hand. :)

You just NEVER know what God is going to do to you, but, for certain, He will provide , and, Piddy, like I said is fun to play with like hide and seek and whack the bottle from her mouth as she runs by me going 40mph (She's faster than Bolt ;) )

God knows you and its why I did this thread, as I believe saying one thing special about you could maybe really truly change your life. God KNOWS your Mr. or Mrs. Right, as Tiffy said, and I bet that 'right' one could be someone on c.c., which has many guests on it's website as well as a TON of members.
I would also , and, sorry if I suddenly sound like a pan handler, I would encourage you to give to c.c., I know it's a sacrifice for some more than others, but God will bless those that bless works that both encourage and help believers. C.c. does do that , don't worry about how much, just give a little if all can give. Because giving to God means a lot, in so many ways no matter what amount, in this case, telling SOME THING of yourself prayerfully, faithfully, bravely could bring a lot or a little change in your life. :)

To be honest, I did the whole online-dating thing once upon a time, and I don't think getting to know someone by hearing what they think is the most awesomest thing about them really prepares you for who they are. It just sets up these expectations that might be too high.

Btw, there's nothing like going on a blind date with someone who's idea of a romantic movie is "Inglorious Bastards" with surround sound. Nothing really prepared you for that, honestly. ;)

I don't have anything against this thread or anyone who might be looking for their match here. I just was looking for some more fellowship with other people my age who believe what I do. I haven't been at my new church long enough to be really close to anyone, and I keep having to miss the groups I like because of work commitments.

LOL@ the movie with surround sound thing!! :)

tif, most of us aren't here for online dating purposes either. From what I've seen, very few in fact are. We're friends and we just kind of share what's on our minds and hearts. Some have done the online dating thing as well and weren't fond of it either. Glad you've pulled up a chair to join us. :)

Let's see,

I bite my fingernails
I only clean my car out twice a year and it only gets washed when I take it in for an oil change
My sunporch sometimes smells like dog pee cause my Pekingese cant hold it for 10 hours a day
I slobber in my sleep
I recently lost about 40 lbs but gained about 15 back because french fries and ice cream are the only two important food groups

So now that I have shared this with you, I know my inbox will be flooded with courtship offers. ;)

You see that wink, thats me flirting. ;) oooohh, there it is again.
