Going it alone.

...

...

I'll probably end up drinking...
*Lynx hiccups absently and wanders off to find another beer.

I do but jest. But though I'm a pentecostal, your plan still sounds better than mine... I'll be working. :-/

Probably nothing special, but over the years I've watched the movie a few times.

We usually celebrate my birthday on July 4th...

But I think this year it will be different. Could be good or bad. But it sucks my birthday falls in the middle of the week.

July 4th is always bitter sweet for me though, in more ways than just one...

But I LOVE watching Independence Day!! One of my many favorite movies :D

I'm having a Blast!! Is what I'm doing on the 4th of July. I'm hanging with my "church" family And natural family. ..we're planning a big cook-out in the park .Can't wait to slap that barbecue sauce on some grilled steaks and chicken. Hopefully it doesn't rain on that day.

Going to my husband's boss's house for bbq and fireworks. Possibly sending the kids off to grandma's house. Should be a fun evening.

My daughter and I are working/practicing making jewelry to sell. I'm looking forward to having an extra day to wrap wire around stones and beads.

I'm trying to get a group of friends together for a small shooting competition. After that, I'm grabbing a bunch of beers and heading to my sister's house for a bonfire.

I'm working about 14 hours that day, give or take. Any time there's a celebration going on, I'm usually working it.

(I am thankful for work. :) )

I haven't given it much thought this year to be honest. Kinda forgot about it till I seen the thread. We used to have a big B-B-Que then go out to the bottoms, have a bonfire and set of the fireworks. But now that I live here in the city, not sure what I'll do. I'll figure out something fun for the kids. In this drought I imagine fireworks will be a problem.

My grandpa has a spare house and property that basically only gets used for mass family parties and get togethers. I'll be out there with my family playing cards, dominos, frisbee, volleyball, blowing stuff up...... AND destroying my little cousins inside the bouncie castle! Oh and also eating myself into a partial food coma.

Only a partial food coma? You need to aim higher for yourself.

Family tradition is to gather at familys lakehouse for the week but this year the tradition had to be broken. Kinda sad but maybe next yr. My son and I are searching through some festivals to decide where to go. Getting excited but admittedly not a huge fireworks fan.
