Well, in that case see the below quote:

They're like dumplings with cheese and potatoes inside. My friend's mom sometimes served them when we were kids. I love them! :)

1611870340325.jpeg of course, the homemade stuff in the video above is going to be so much better.

ohhh I love cooks country/test kitchen recipes.........

Thanks, Gabe :) Oh, they did not add sour cream to the cooked perogies and sautéed onion before eating o_O I did notice, however, that they used sour cream in the perogies' dough before cooking them  Hmmm, I think I will just stick to my premade frozen ones :giggle: They are so easy to prepare and quite economical too! :D ps @ GG ~ your kids will love them!

Two weeks ago I ordered two boxes of the frozen ones I gave a picture for... I think there is now enough for one meal left, though I am out of white onion :( I have more on my grocery order, but I have not submitted it yet :D The boxes contain 29 perogies each, and I cook ten at a time, which is plenty, and even more than enough for one meal if I add cauliflower to them, which then gives me a nice little snack for later ;):) They were on sale last time, too: 2 boxes for $6.00 total (y) Very economical! :geek:At first I sautéed just half an onion for ten perogies, but that was not quite enough, so then I fried a whole white onion and put 3/4 of it in with the perogies (the onions are fairly large). I used the last 1/4 in an omelet type breakfast meal the following morning :):):)

I just placed my grocery order :) Actually, the frozen perogies are less expensive than $3.00 a box (for 29 pieces) :D
