Yeah, vlad , that would probably be wasting your ONE question. Thessalonians says we do not and will not know the day or the hour of His coming (again to Earth). Jesus will come like a thief in the night. I could be wrong, but God would not tell you that, for that reason is that we MUST have faith

Note: listening is fine, He will surely say some things to you, but here is what is really being said in this thread: ' You are such a blessing to me child and I have so many things yet left to do before I come again? What would you ask me if you had one question on your heart that only I can answer because I am the only ONE who knows you better than yourself?

We have to trust Him in everything. There is no one like our Lord in all the earth. I will praise Him because He is worthy.

Why can't I speak in tongues?
I know it's not going to get me to Heaven, and, I have faith in you and, what you can do for me but speaking in tongues is one of the gifts of the Spirit and I want all the gifts I can get so I have them in my arsenal to best serve You

Sometimes people want have gifts of GOD but don't want surrender to Him. We must to want the same that He wants. Only Jesus is my example. Only He have been spotlessly clean in all and He spoke about the Father's will. Let us be followers of Christ. Those tongues in the New Testament this is concerning the time of apostols.
All of gifts of God have a practial use. My opinion If your gift does not currently have a destination then it's not from God. May the Lord of peace give you his peace, Greennice.

And, so, yes, I am not concerned about speaking in tongues, as 'it' has zero to do with getting to Heaven, but on Earth you never know how the Lord is going to lead your life.

Mmm... I ask Him many things, and like Zero said, He is with us (and does answer, actually). ...but that's not the pretext of the question...
If I was face to face (and not dead) with Jesus/God, and could ask Him whatever I want, but there can only be 1...question....what would I ask him? Hmm...
Depending on my mindset and the situation at the time...It's hard to say...Mmm...Perhaps something like:
Declaring "My Lord, or God, or King" (like Thomas) as I bowed/knelt at his feet in Worship/Reverence followed by something the lines of "What do you wish of me?" and thinking it must be pretty important if He came to see me Himself, in the flesh.
...or if we'd been there a while and were chillin' like buddies, then maybe something like...
"So do I make it...in the end?"
